They have really great lunch specials! I like the nigiri plate with the real crab California roll. Their gyozas are also fried to perfection.
The sushi is good but the sake is great!!Returned the next evening and had the flaming jack shrimp. It was Amazing!!!
Get the sampler platter and you'll get this huge boat with an assortment of sushi. It was worth the price and such delicious food! All very fresh and super tasty.
This is one of my favorite sushi spots definitely recommend! The atmosphere is fun, I love taking friends here.
Want two nights in a row. The roll I ordered the second night was awesome. I ordered the flaming shrimp jack. The 1st eve was just good. The sake flights were great too, awesome variety. Very friendly staff and good service.
One of the best sushi places in Portland. ALWAYS check the specials. A true oasis for all sake enthusiasts with numerous and rare examples on offer. Tempura is always perfect abd great noodle bowls as well. A perfect place heavily frequented by members of Portland's vibrant Asian communities. That's the best endorsement. Go Already!
One of the best sushi experiences in 30 years of exploring the cuisine. Every detail is executed with the greatest of care. Minute little touches of wasabi on Bluefin sashimi, sitting atop a dusting of micro-salt. Freshly made gyoza in the most delicate of wraps, crisped to perfection. All flavors that made me close my eyes a little with each bite. I’m astounded by this restaurant, clearly.
Loved eating here! Had the Curry Tonkatsu, Mardi Gras sushi roll, Wakame salad and the Chicken Kara-Age. All of it was ready minutes after we ordered and made to perfection!The staff were so nice and attentive! Can't wait to go back!
The lunch menu on this place is fantastic! I got 2 pieces of unagi (fantastic) and the salmon teriyaki bento bowl. Everything was great! Staff was kind and friendly. A little slow if you’re going in alone, but well paced for a business lunch or lunch with a friend!
The sushi is fine. No problems there. However, during the course of each of my multiple visits the front of house staff made me uncomfortable. It became apparent quite quickly that these were not pleasant people. They were never overtly rude to me, however, I do not recall ever seeing them smile. In fact, they were scowling. Constantly. During my visits (Twice) their treatment of the delivery drivers that came in for orders was degrading. As I said, this made me uncomfortable. I will not be returning.
