The bar inside the Marriott Aloft hotel. Good service, decent price, comfortable atmosphere, pool table and a couple of other games. Outdoor seating area.
Great local tap selection
I met with a couple of friends for dinner and drinks. Service was friendly enough, but incredibly slow. At one point staff were texting, chatting behind the bar, and then disappeared for about 20 minutes while we were waiting to pay our tab. It was Friday night and there were only 1-2 other patrons there (red flag?), so maybe the staff were taking their time. A cocktail was about $15, mediocre / decent at best. The food was straight bad. Microwaved fries, little to no seasoning on the food -- most pubs have better food at cheaper prices.
Had an amazing time the fire place was on and warm great atmosphere they also have billiards our bartender was so welcoming and very fun she made a delicious Manhattan thanks so much Elisabeth !
Great drinks and lots of cool games around to play.
Neat, clean spaces and friendly, helpful staff! We highly recommend the heated pool. Loved the courtesy shuffle. Near by restaurants and shopping. Room was small but I expected that so be prepared for a not too private bathroom. However, it was a perfect getaway with thanks to Aloft!
This hotel checked all of our boxes. We needed a clean, close to PDX hotel that we could park our car and catch their shuttle to the airport. I definitely will stay here when I fly out of Portland! Staff was super friendly and helpful and the the driver was happy to greet us in the morning at pick up.
We has a marvelous night with two adjoining rooms for ourselves, grand daughter and 2 lab dogs. The staff was excellent in meeting our requests for adjoining rooms - 1 king and 2 queens on first floor - and even let us check out late for our grand daughter to take her nap. We really appreciated the friendly attitude of Alexis at the front desk to meet all our needs. The rooms are modern, comfy and have all the amenities. Grand daughter loved the swimming pool and access to outside for the dogs was easy. We will definitely return.
I travel often - everywhere in fact. Every time I have a flight or stay over in Portland, I always look to book the Aloft first, and for the following reasons... It's the perfect location. So many restaurants within walking distance - literally just across the street. The Max train has 2 stops nearby, one less than a block away. The max takes you to the airport, or downtown. You don't need a car at all. Speaking of cars - this hotel does not charge for parking, and it has a 24 hour courtesy shuttle that picks you up/drops you off at the airport. As for the hotel, the rooms are always clean and ready for your arrival. If you can, get a room on the North side of the hotel - you'll have a great view of the mountains, as well as a view of the runway without any noise. The lobby and bar area are the big draw. The bar is always lively with the friendliest bartenders who know how to pour a good drink, and they are always entertaining. It's a great place to start or end your night. But truth be told, just get drinks - the food isn't anything to write home about, especially since there are so many restaurants close. It has a lovely indoor pool which is clearly cared for, and it is also dog friendly. All in all, it's a wonderful place, and it hires employees who truly care about the customer experience. Don't miss it!
Aloft Portland Airport at Cascade Station is a great option by PDX Airport. Modern, basic and hip. The only upgrade available is a room on top floor. They include breakfast for Titanium members, however it's not available on weekends. Airport shuttle is very convenient. Lots of dogs! Overall, a great affordable option.
