The food in the deli is excellent! Always fresh and delicious. I have had the opportunity to try new things and I am never disappointed . The staff is caring and helpful. Do yourself a favor and shop here for the great selection and healthy choices. Have made this my goto grocer. Thank you!
Dangerous place full of yummy (too yummy) treats. Small store but a nicely curated selection of food. Produce looked nice and fresh. Just grabbed a couple of snacks and the best ice cream Ive had in a while. Checker wasnt friendly AT ALL-completely dismissive and rushing me out to finish a surprisingly friendly convo w her coworker, but it didnt ruin my experience. Definitely will be back.
World Foods has a lovely selection of foods you can't get at every other market. Their produce is always fresh. Service is excellent.
I used to like this place, but no longer, especially on Sunday night, the girl who threw the grocery bag to me with my groceries in there. People who work there are passive-aggressive. I ask for a specific coffee brand. It’s okay. They don’t have it. And you don’t need to say sorry at all. Just don’t throw the bag towards me.I love the world food Lebanese owner, he is super kind and generous, maybe he is too kind to keep those rude, racist staffs.
We've lived within 6 blocks of this wonderful place for 9 months now and I am EMBARRASSED to admit we just went here for the first time! Ugh, it is a gem! After just getting back from a trip to Europe I assumed I would never find a place that reminded me of the corner grocery stores I had fallen in love with there... Then I walked into World Foods! Familiar foods, exotic foods, and everything in between... Plus they had the fresh squeezed orange juice machine I thought only existed in Europe!!!! I can't wait to find an excuse to go back and explore more/get inspired.
one of a kind store! fresh food, ready-made breakfasts, lunches and dinners! top notch staff! prices, as before under capitalism, are not corrupted by the ideas of socialism. who will be nearby come in and see how cool everything is here!
Wonderful and quaint grocery market. It has pretty much everything you could need. There’s fresh, local produce, hot meals, and a little cafe. I’ve discovered some interesting fruit, including some apples from up in Washington that had a slight berry flavor. They were one of the best apples I’ve ever tried. I could spend forever in the chocolate aisle, feeling like a child at the candy store. The drinks at the cafe are all good and worth getting while you’re there shopping. All the employees are always so welcoming and kind.
I enjoy the convenience of the store with it being in easy walking distance and all but I have to say that the couple of times I’ve gotten meat from the pre made deli it’s been DRY too the point of being inedible. $9 for a pound of lemon chicken that had to be tossed. How it could be dry while sitting in a pool of marinade is beyond me. The baba ganoush I purchased from the deli also tasted a little watered down and diluted. I’ll stick to the fresh produce next time I go in.
My wife and I stay at the Hampton Inn across the street from world foods. We always go to the store to purchase items we forgot and we usually grab a coffee. Today I ordered a coffee and decided to sit and enjoy the coffee. The barista served me the coffee and went on to make an americano. She turned around and asked if I had my vaccine card on me. I said no. She said I couldn’t sit there and enjoy my coffee. All this after they took my money and tip. Guess we will be shopping somewhere else and definitely not getting coffee from there. My recommendation is that this place needs to post on the front doors that vaccine card is required to enjoy coffee.
Variety, healthy and nice people! A beautiful place to go. There is a café shop and mini food court there
