Amazing Food, EVEN BETTER Bartenders! I Absolutely LOVE THIS Place!!!
An east side karaoke bar serving really good Vietnamese food open until 230am? It is utopia. This is the first place I've ever been where I saw Asian, Black, Latinx, and white folks all getting sloshed together. We were there late & people were definitely inebriated. But it was busy & a good vibe. We had seasoned pork with vermicelli, wings & shrimp & pork salad - all were flavorful & fresh. No cocktail menu but, hey, it's not highbrow. It's for everyone.
Don't know what was wrong with the bartender tonight but I didn't like the service tonight. He had our drinks ready then put them down to the side and started taking other orders ignoring us. Then came back after 15 mins and still didn't give us our drinks. Negative-5 stars.
$13-17 an entree but tasty food that I’m definitely coming back for. BBH that isn’t made with shrimp paste so I can actually eat it (shellfish allergy). All their salt and pepper anything is tasty. Glad there’s good food to eat during late night hours.
Food was a bit to spicy for my taste. I had the #6.
Loved this place at first. But things got intense and I was racially kicked out even though I wasn’t doing anything to deserve it. Asked to be able to wait in another area to avoid conflict with another person in there but was told to get out in cold until my ride came. Did not like how I was treated at all. Bar attendant lied as well saying the gal who started stuff with me and was loud and rude would be kicked out but he never put her out. I am a women of color who was judged based off solely that and them making assumptions about me. Would definitely never recommend going here.
Havent been back in ages, came by tonight and surprisingly it is pretty clean. My mussels with jalapeno was salty, but everything else was OK.
This was my first experience with Bun Bo Hue. It was delicious and I'm smacking myself for having not tried it before. The staff was was attentive, and helpful. I'm glad I took the time to stop in.
This is also another classic late night hangout spot that serves some good food. My favorite dish here is the BBH hot pot. They also have karaoke here that you can participate in.
Great staff, Diverse menu, Great food, Very clean and updated accomodations. I would recommend to everyone!!
