I've been testing every roaster I can find around PDX and Upper Left blew me away. Hands down the best coffee I've had in town, and this is a great coffee town. Appreciate the variety of bean profiles. Sparkling water with espresso to clear palate for tasting is a pro-touch.

The coffee and food here is top notch. The egg croissant sandwich may have been the best I've ever had in the PNW. I'd add a a little more coziness to this spot and it would hit a 5 star rating. Parking is very limited in the neighborhood and this place is busy so having no time restraints is helpful.

One of my favorite little coffee shops in Portland. Their coffees and specialty drinks are unsurpassed, so if that’s your thing, don’t miss it!Their avocado toast is so good, and I recently tried their tempeh Reuben — it was insane! They have plenty of gluten free and vegan options too.Highly recommended!

Fabulous coffee at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly. As a diabetic, I wish you carried some sort of artificial sweetener.

Atmosphere was nice! Coffee was delicious! Staff was very friendly too!

Great cafe and met my expectations! I had the nova lox toast and matcha. Toast was fantastic, poblano pepper schmear was excellent, and the lox was fresh. Matcha could’ve been hotter. Reasonably priced. I will be going back to try the other toasts! Great ambiance with good natural light.FYI vaccine card is required for indoor dining.

This place offers coffee and “vibes”. On a Monday afternoon the “vibe” was a packed house of millennials camping with laptops taking up as much space as possible. I’m sure the coffee and menus are great, but if showing up on a Monday afternoon expecting to sit with a coffee and bite- keep your expectations in check.

The Turkish eggs and toast were ridiculously tasty, the coffee was delicious, and the natural light adds a really nice touch to this place. My only complaint was that none of the outlets worked. I tried 5 and my laptop charger fell out of every single one and all the other ones that still worked were being used. So I quickly had to leave after sitting down and I was really looking forward to hanging out and working in there. I’ll come back, but I’ll need to come prepared with a full battery lol. Just a heads up if you work remotely!

Nice stop, good mix of people, patient staff, pretty good coffee (I had the maple turmeric latte with oat milk, not a huge amount of flavor). There were Saturday morning bike folks, laptop workers, notepad writers, social outing folks. Crowded, but it all seemed to flow well. Vax card required for indoor dining.

Both the food and coffee was amazing. I got a hazelnut + cashew milk decaf spiced latte, and romenesco toast with poached eggs. It was a little busier than I'm comfortable with but the food was worth it and on a nicer day I'd total sit outside. I was happy they required proof of vaccination to sit inside.
