The Trap is exactly what you'd expect for a dive bar in SE. Friendly bar staff, affordable drinks, fried food and karaoke. Great breakfast. No bells and whistles, but who needs em.
I ordered the trap omelette and two orders of the bacon egg breakfast all it was really good very casual extremely casual tavern and grill

The bartenders are gorgeous compassionate ladies. Jen likes to make new cocktails and hands them out free of charge. Also the Karokee on Friday and Saturday nights gets pretty Lit. Love the place
Love this place. Excellent service, and the new rockin KJ who does karaoke on the weekends is a delight. Wonderful little karaoke bar with a spacious outside smoking area.
I Love the Trap. Always have. Karaoke is on point. Barmaiden Shelley is THE premier bartender in Portland. Hands down. Tip her well. Expect a long wait if you're doing karaoke because it gets busy on the weekends. So don't wait until you're full of liquid courage to put in for a song. The crowd will get SO into it as the night goes on. Unless you choose a rock ballad, which I question why you'd be doing karaoke anyway. It's a free country though. So go, have a blast. You will.
