10/10 best Japanese sandwich consumed in my lifetime. Pretty sure it's the only one I've had but the bar is now really high. Super overly soft white bread, perfectly fried tofu, the slaw was great and the flavors from the black garlic and miso were awesome.

I waited for them to open at 11.30 am and five minutes later there was a long line. I don’t know about the pork or the chicken sandos but the tofu sando was so so good. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in Portland. ?

So delicious, fresh, and filling. I had the pork miso Katsu and flavours were amazing. I just found the pork slightly dry and tough. However, very friendly service and I want to go back and try all the other sandwiches!!

Wow, delicious pork katsu sandwich. Person who took my order (I think it was the owner) was so friendly and sweet. If any of the flavors on the menu sound good, you gotta try it. They execute very well. Can’t wait to come back.

I tried many little convenience store sandwiches while in Japan, they all have the super soft white bread and a little fillings —Tokyo Sando delivered an amazing flavor and quantity of meat in their creation, and I must say (being Japanese and from Hawaii) that it was the nicest, juiciest! katsu I’ve ever had! We got the Naka Sando with hot sauce and katsu Sando! The Naka is absolutely my favorite so far, I can’t wait to come back and try the scotch egg Sando and others!Definitely recommend and worth the short wait!

The pork cutlet is so so well-breaded and all of the sauces/dressings are perfect. Wait was about 15-20 minutes after we ordered which was totally worth it. Go!!!

Crispy goodness with excellent sauce

We love this food truck for the delicious sandwiches that remind us of our time in Tokyo... they're authentic, delicious, consistent, and 5-star quality. Plus, the people who run it are so, so kind and wonderful. The short interactions with them always brighten my day.You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They don't always have a daily special, but make sure to ask for it!This food truck is always on the list when we have friends visit Portland.

Specialty (Japanese) sandwich food truck. Wished they offered more sandwiches (other than the egg one) that are not deep fried. Pricey but worth a try.

Absolutely delicious! The chicken katsu is juicy yet krispy, the bread is soft and spongey, the sauces are tangy and delicious. I've been waiting for this cart to reopen for a while and it didn't disappoint!I tried the Miso Katsu sandwich and it was a 10/10.
