I started off searching for best breakfasts in Portland and cross referenced that list with most dogfriendly joints in Portland. That took us to the Tin Shed and boy am I glad it did. I loved so many things about this place from the self serve coffee to the chill and polite service to the dog options on the menu. We were there for a bit and I think I saw at least 8 dogs in and out of this establishment. All of them well behaved and just enjoying being out with their owners. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would just for the atmosphere and dog friendliness alone. Do not miss out on the biscuits with jam. Those were so tasty and probably my favorite thing I ate. We ordered both the naughty and nice meals and were happy sampling so many good things this place has to offer. There are a lot of options in Portland and this spot is worth a visit.

Was excited to go here for breakfast, but think the hype let the experience down.Didn't have a reservation but was there at 8am hoping because we were early we could get a spot. We were unlucky and had to wait an hour. I don't think it was worth the wait.We were sat out in the tin shed, it was a cool morning, they only had a fan heater going that would come on in bursts.Bring warm clothing is all I can say if it is cool out.The food was ok, nothing to write home about. Service was average, a bit slow. The server was walking around with the coffee pot for refills and with two empty cups looking at her, she just walked on by.It is a nice neighbourhood joint, but take the hype with a pinch of salt.

Awesome experience and food was excellent. The hashbrowns literally melted in my mouth ? The waitress complimented my ring (just got married and was on my Honeymoon) and I told her about the history of it since it was passed down to me by my Stepmom after she passed (she really wanted me to have her beautiful ring for my future Wedding, but I digress.) A moment later, they bring us a couple surprise celebratory biscuits with jam! ??‍♀️ I had one of the special Mimosas, and I would definitely love to try the other choices they have. I was very impressed by their whole menu! Also had lots of fun spotting the cute lil things around the restaurant (just snapped a couple pics).

I sometimes shake my head in disbelief and wonder how excellent restaurants like this one manage to keep serving and keep smiling when I read reviews (like the one from the entitled idiots who unilaterally decide that their annoying barking dog is more important than the comfort of others. (in the review above this one.) This restaurant provides a beautiful environment, excellent food (it has a well-deserved reputation as one of the best places to brunch or lunch in North portland. And yet there are still people who are moronic enough to leave punitive one star review blaming the restaurant for their own anti-social behaviour My hat is off to the wonderfully diplomatic staff who protected the rest of the diners from this badly behaved stupid woman who mistook this wonderful eatery for a dog park. The kindness with which the staff mitigated the disturbance these clods were selfishly causing the entire group of other diners was truly exceptional…they were more than kind to people who deserved nothing but a stern word and swift dispatch. Tldr the Tin Shed is awesome. Great food; fantastic staff.

Great staff, amazing food very nice atmosphere.

One of best places to have breakfast for sure! Even plain potato wedges are incredibly good! Not over or under seasoned, perfect amount and the cocktails are great too! Sheds on fire cocktail became my favorite for the winter right away! Great food, nice drinks, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, what else you need?

Fantastic spot near around Northeast Portland with a beautiful outdoor setup. It's usually busy, so make sure to reserve a spot in advance but definitely worth the wait. Our brunch food hit the spot! Definitely try their homemade sauces, we loved the frozen raspberry one.

A unique streetside cafe with a creative and tasty menu and a very cool vibe. My sister loves this place, so we made the drive from Beaverton to check it out. Impressive with a very Portland vibe.

Place was a bit pricey but pretty good. I had the eggs Benedict which was good but not great. It came out cold unfortunately and the sauce was kinda bland. Nothing special. The potatoe pancakes were delish tho. And my boyfriend seemed to really like his. The gravy was tasty and their raspberry jam is good as well. Next time I will order something else

Great service! Delicious breakfast for both meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Nice vibe!
