The price increase is more unattractive than the food itself. The food is great but there is competition for a better price near by(Fried Egg I'm In Love) and more. They went up on most of their menu from a 14.99 chicken and waffles to a 19.99 for example, no difference in the quantity. Would be justified if you couldn't get it somewhere else for a better price in Portland. The employees are great people. I would enjoy being able to take my family out to this place and not have to break the bank.
One of the best waffles ever. You won't be disappointed. A little bit expensive but it was worth it. We also tried the basil lemonade and it was good.
Happy belated birthday waffle love ? ?Planning this year's birthday was optimistic but still uncertain: sunny *warm* weather finally arrived, but I wasn't sure which restaurants were still running the birthday special.On my actual bday I couldn't make it to the Window, and then the rest of the week was too busy.When I figured it couldn't hurt to ask while I was in the area Saturday, a few days after my birthday, they said yes without hesitation.I ordered the 3 B's (Bacon, Basil, Brie) and left a tip. But I'll have to come back for the seasonal ??
First time delivery and wow a very impressive meal. Fried chicken and waffle was excellent the waffle a delicate companion to crispy and moist chicken with awesome maple syrup. The cheddar jalapeño bacon waffle was terrific a wonderful combo of flavors. The berry dazzle was a tasty dessert with yummy lemon curd. The berry basil lemonade was terrific. Highly recommend and will order again
Delicious! Never disappoints! Took my sister, nephew and sons to pick up lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to shop while waiting for our order. Everyone was so pleased. We ordered a Nutella Banana waffle, a Strawberry and Lemon Curd waffle, 3 chocolate strawberry waffles, can’t remember what my two sons ordered from the savory menu but there wasn’t a crumb left.
This place is absolutely delicious. Not exactly expensive, but I think it's worth it. Really delicious waffles with a dense, sweet texture. We were very lucky in that the weather was with us that morning so that we could sit at their sidewalk tables. Next time we are in town, I'm sure we'll be back.
We were given a gift card for Christmas and because we live in southern Oregon we just got around to using it on a trip thru Portland. We called our order in and 15 minutes later when we arrived is was already ready! Having to eat in the car I was a little nervous but the to go boxes were sturdy and take out cutlery strong. We got one sweet and one savory waffle and they were equally delicious. I would definately recommend checking them out!
I had the Strawberry & Lemon Curd, it was great! Piled high with whipped cream, I scarfed it up so fast I forgot to take a pic! Did get a current menu shot, though. Wait was under 5 minutes early on a Sunday evening.
Consistency is the name of this place. Im from the east coast and every time I visit Portland I HAVE to go to Waffle Window. Definitely a must visit when in town. They hands-down have the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had and you honestly can’t go wrong with anything else on the menu! Oh.. I can I also brag about their gravy!? Its amazing!!!
Omg! Pure deliciousness!! Everything we ordered was amazing. Love that they had savory and sweet options because I want my avocado and waffles too! Great prices and waffles are huge. They are super busy and there's usually a wait of 15 to 20 min. but it is well worth it.
