Great pizza & probably the best gluten-free pizza I have ever tasted...service was a little off but they were probably short staffed + lots of "to go" orders.
First time dining here & the food was very good especially the broccolini...ordered deep dish, thin crust & gluten-free pies which were all very good.
As a Chicagoan by birth, I was excited to see The Star offered Deep Dish. We ordered 1/2 Classic, 1/2 Mediterranean, which had the same red sauce. The toppings were fine, but the red sauce wasnât anything to write home about. Nothing original. Aaron the waiter was efficient and personable. It was a perfect setting for people-watching. I would recommend it with caveats. Would like to try some of the other pizzas, but canât totally recommend unless the red sauce improves.
Great food, great vibe, great location
Although our waitress was kind, it took 40 minutes to get our drinks. Once we got our pizza we asked for ranch dressing which took 10 minutes before we had to ask again. Food was good and I would give it another chance. I just hope the service improves.
Deep dishin is really good. Party outside
The outdoor seating was unavailable but since we had a dog they were accommodating and the manager set up a table for us outside. We were the only ones sitting outside and the service was exceptional!
Good service and good pizza
Good fresh pizza with thin crust... more like a cracker crust, but good. We didn't try the deep dish. Our bill was over 50.00 for a 16" pizza and two beers, so not a cheap date!
Excellent friendly service I had the Hoyt Highball which was thirst quenching and not sweet We shared a spring salad with fresh ingredients and the BBQ chicken pizza. Delicious and fine for sharing for two Big screen TVs but sound turned down so not loud but my husband could watch his Stanley Cup playoffs Great tunes!
