Awesome restaurant in the heart of Sellwood. THEY HAVE STROMBOLI!! it was sooo good! I ordered the Staff Jennings Stromboli, it had pepperoni, mozzarella, jalapeños, and kalamata olives - the dough was superb. This restaurant also had various types of infused vodka. - I ordered the strawberry rhubarb sling. Eat Here!
Pizza is 5/10, there are far better pies in town. Been a handful of times to-go and patio. Staff refuses to acknowledge your presence for 5-10 minutes while you wait for pickup. I get they’re busy but it would take what, three seconds to be human and smile and say “be right with you!” The servers clearly are avoiding eye contact as I am obviously there to pick up or order at the bar. Finally after failing to get eye contact from any of the three servers for ten minutes, and after one of the servers two feet away from me finished texting someone on her phone, I had to literally doorstop her and ask for my pizza. I’ve spoken with other friends who have received the same treatment. Never coming back.

I love it here. Cocktails and drinks are great. The Cheese Board is my favorite. My husband has gotten the same sandwich three times and has also really enjoyed his pizza. The mood is also pretty great. We keep coming back.
Great cocktails, great food! We think the pizza punches WAY above it's weight class. Cocktail and cheese pizza happy hour is our new lil tradition!
I really enjoy this place. First, there's indoor and outdoor seating. The actual bar is gorgeous. The beer list is local and of high quality. The cocktails are good, and they infuse a bunch of their own liquors. Each time I've been there the service has been great.
Our first visit was a late lunch, with only a few patrons due to the hour. It was perfect for us to check it out without distractions. We will return! Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, excellent service, rustic decorations, and great pizza!
Hard to fill a growler if the bar is full. Make sure you ask for your to-go order if you see or in the window but are finishing your drink. Other than that it's a standard local pub with a cozy neighborhood feel.
The Muddy Rudder is a very laid back, casual, cozy pub with a great atmosphere, great staff, and GREAT pizza! They offer a range of cocktails, real ales, and some great wines. They also offer take away.
Warm and inviting atmosphere, attentive and friendly waiter, reasonable prices, and great food. We each had a personal pizza, and shared a huge Caesar salad. The pizzas were big enough for our lunch the next day!We will be back to this restaurant.
