I don't know where all these 4 and 5 stars are coming from. The flavor in the smoked meats are sub par. The Mac and cheese was OK at best. The real problem is customer service, if you don't believe me, go there and order some food at the window....
The wife and I went here while staying in Tigard. Loved my sliders (the smoked and fried chicken), both were tender and very flavorful. Wife enjoyed the Dirty Mac n Cheese with added ground beef and carmalized onions! The sides of corn were juice. Only downside is our forgotten sauces with our order of Popcorn chicken but otherwise I would visit again!
The mac is good, chicken was average, but the worse part is hands down the wait. Instead of getting here and ordering I was informed it would be best to order online as they only take one order at a time at the window... owning a restaurant myself, I thought it was asinine to limit how many orders could come in to one
Unmasked employee rolled his eyes at me and scolded me for being early to pick up my order, then proceeded to berate me when I asked him why he was not wearing a mask while preparing my food. He said “do you want your food or not?!” So I walked away and will never return. Absolutely unprofessional and rude. He shouted “have a great day!” as I was walking away which is so incredibly snarky and stuck up. What a terrible human! :(
The smoked chicken sliders are amazing! Large portions and bold flavors! We always ask to add their Mac directly to the sliders. Definitely gotta try! You won’t regret it…
Dirty Mac w/smoked chicken was fantastic, wouldn't change a thing. Also ordered a whole smoked chicken which was good but not great- a little drier than I'd like, and they only had 3/4 of a bird left when I arrived to pick up. They threw in 2 fried thighs to make up for the missing 1/4 bird, which were better than the smoked IMO so it was a happy mistake. I'll be back for the Mac for sure.
I have eaten here once before today and will never eat here again simply due to the horrific customer service I received when I went to go pick up my order for my family.I ordered my food online and it gave me 45 min to pick up my order. When I arrived the person at front said they had not even started my order and it was behind several other orders. I simply told them that I was disappointed and that I ordered online for the convenience of not having to wait. This set the person helping me on a tyrant rage and he stated that I could get my money back or wait and slammed the window closed. I stated that I would like my money back and he continued using phrases like:1. “we don’t need your business, we make a lot of money anyways”2. “I have my own business, what do you have?” (Apparently, he was implying he was the owner!)3. THE THREAT “If I ever see you outside this cart I will take care of you another way”I have owned several restaurants in my past and the value of losing a customer becomes exponential, so I am glad that “THE MAC” makes so much money they don’t need very basic customer service skills and don’t mind losing customers.If you care just a little about customer service do not eat here there are plenty of other restaurant options that could really use your business!Happy Holiday!
Holy ?! This place is amazing!! The popcorn chicken is good but the chicken thighs is where it's at!!! Mac is just ok and nothing to write home about, but the chicken shines!!! Honestly they should change the name to damn good chicken! LolThis place is a tad expensive but definitely worth it!
Got the mac with shrimp and crab. Price wasn't too bad...flavor was pretty good. It was King crab and meat was kind of chewy but I've never had king crabs so maybe that's normal idk. And I'm from the south so the mac and cheese was a 5.5. But the shrimp was so good. So overall 7.5 for me
This food is some of the best I have ever tasted! The flavor that is in it all! It is wonderful. We are from east coast and we have nothing that even compares. Wish you all the best and hopefully you will expand to the Carolinas!!¡
