My rosemary paloma and croque madame were both delicious! Service was fast and friendly, and the swing chairs they have at a few tables are neat. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back for brunch again next time I'm in Portland!
Haven’t gotten my food yet, but as of right now the service isn’t fantastic. I was told I couldn’t sub fries for breakfast potatoes which felt silly but I wouldn’t have minded if I was told in a polite way, as a server myself I would never tell a table “yeah no subs,” no sorry or anything? Got my food, and it was really really yummy. I am going to air on the side of my server having a rough day. We all have those days. Service got better as the meal continued. I was a little concerned about our dirty water glass, could use some work.
i judge breakfast menus on the preparation of their potatoes. these breakfast potatoes were beautifully cooked. environment is great, drink menu is fantastic, they have fun events every so often (trivia night last time i was there) -had the hot honey chicken dinner once and was not a fan at all but i hear their burgers are great so i'll give that a stab next time i'm in. fries were good too
we've been meaning to come here and finally did with friends yesterday for brunch....there were 9 of us and we were seated quickly inside..caroline was the staffperson for our large group, and she was fabulous.....i had a mimosa, and my partner had the traditional bloody mary...next, i had the veggie patty sub salad...it was so delicious and made of beets/kale/grain....my partner had the crawfish cakes with potato, and one pancake too....our friends had drinks/food and were very happy with everything....be sure to tip big during these challenging times...thx so much
The food was pretty good. There are these cute swing seats that were very entertaining and it was cute inside. The music was very nice, not to loud and not quiet. Easy to talk to who you are with and hear them. The food got out at a decent time. The service however took awhile even though it seemed like it wasn’t very busy, for inside was empty. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated and about 15+ minutes before a waitress took our order. The waitress didn’t really check on us besides once, she was visibly busy though. Perhaps it was just short staffed today. She was however very kind when we did encounter her, which was much appreciated. That’s the only thing that could’ve been better, hence why I give 4/5 stars. I definitely would go back again and would say it’s worth checking out at least once.
The biscuits with mushroom gravy was insanely delicious; I added a side of cooked veggies and I don't think the biscuits with gravy would have been enough food for me otherwise. I also had the veggie bloody Mary which was fantastic. My friend got the Caprese eggs Benedict which, all though it was tasty, was very one-note; we smothered it in hot sauce to give it an edge against the subtle creamy flavors of the hollandaise. Over all, good brunch experience!
Valentine's dinner was great. Photo is of outdoor seating - warmer here than inside thanks to the new heater seen in the photo. Lots of space between tables on the patio. Service, food, and drinks were all good.
Everything here is good, what can I say? They always have a very nice draft beer selection, delicious food, killer drinks, and SWINGS! Plus the staff if just wonderful- I mean, it's no wonder they're always busy. Get there early if you want a table!
Was going to a different place but they were sold out of a item that I wanted, so I decided to Google restaurants close to me. This one was first on the list. I got the pretzel and the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was bomb. I also had the bread pudding which came with a big helping of ice cream on top of it. I definitely want to come back when I'm in the area to try one of the burgers. Also the waitress was very attentive and also helped me decide and what to eat. I don't remember her name tho but she did have blonde hair and was working the late afternoon shift.
Just another hipster Portland food spot. It was pretty good. If you're visiting Portland, like breakfast food, mimosas and Bloody Marys, then pull up on this place.
