We had to kill a few hours while in the area on a Sunday and this was one of the only places on Broadway that were open. I didn't order any food but the person I was with got their famous salad with blackened chicken on top and they said it was good and the portions were very generous. They had a few pinball machines and other games in the back which is always appreciated. The atmosphere was very casual and relaxed, pleasant place to spend some time.
Typical Portland sports bar... ? because nothing is more appealing than a bunch of pudgy bilegerant middle-aged drunks that think they are they sexiest and funniest person in the place watching other people exercise on a tv set behind the bar.Their only saving grace is that they have a nice spacious video-poker area that also has a couple of pool tables where you get the complimentary soda every hour that Oregon Lottery pays for. Also, their restrooms are clean.

Came in for their happy hour the food was so good. My only concern is that my waitress seemed very intoxicated,
This is a good spot to bring a dog if you plan to sit outside. Happy hour specials are also a great option to stay affordable and get a full meal and a drink. Cost $19.25 for two drinks and two sliders with a pound of fries. Service was a bit slow because there were a lot of people for one bar person but they were very friendly despite the busy time and food was very quick. Would come back here when back in Portland.
Good place to watch the game, and drink. Food isn't that good. A lot of the wait staff seemed like they had too much going on at once.
Nice bartenders, really good food and plenty of space for a big crowd . They have 2 top of the line pool tables and slots

My friend & I met in Portland to go on vacation; she is from CA & I am from St. Louis. We spent the day around Mt. Tabor & Astoria & it was my job to find places to eat. ?I picked The Broadway Brewery & Grill & I am so glad I did! ! It has a great neighborhood bar ‘feel’ to it & we were seated quickly. The local beer was DELICIOUS, the meatball appetizer & Club sandwich really hit the spot. But we were mostly impressed by Morgan our waitress; she was very attentive even though it was busy. The tater tots were awesome, a perfect crispy outside & soft inside. We came back the next night & Morgan remembered us & what we drank the night before. Pizza was good also. Highly recommend visiting this place. Eat local!!
Me and my friend came into this establishment because of the reviews - we are out town and we’re blown away by the service, beers and food! Morgan was our waitress each time. Why do I say each time? Because we ate there twice!!!! Such an amazing local bar/grill!
