Yay for Thai comfort food! Fast service, large portions, gluten free options, not greasy, very affordable and lots of flavor!

So good. Near Powell’s. We were looking for a place to grab lunch and found the restaurant on a map. A litt walk down one block and yay. So many carry out orders, and busy but service was quick. The food was delicious and the decor poppin.

Pretty good Thai food. The sampler appetizers was a great taste of everything. I would recommend the coconut shrimp and the crab rangoon out of the samplers if you're looking to only get one or two appetizers. The crispy trout was average, fried hard. Not my favorite but I can see why people enjoy it. The pineapple braised pork garlic rice was super flavorful but I feel like there needed to be a citrus sauce or side to cut the one flavor profile. The curry was wonderful, our favorite for the night. The as is spicy was perfect. The seafood pad thai was probably the least favorite of all. It was overly saucy and salty. But there was a lot of seafood which was nice.

My Wife and I were on a trip to Portland recently and were looking for a good local Thai place to try out. Both the Hotel we stayed at "The Paramount" and yelp highly recommended Thai Peacock. From the outside the place is very unassuming, you think its smaller then it is. They have a nice seating area upstairs as well as separate area downstairs. There is also a community table area should you wish to dine with others. As we walked in we were greeted by an extremely friendly waitress and were told to put our name into the iPad up front. This was a very easy way of knowing when your table is ready as it sends you a link you can verify. The food had was among the best Thai food I have eaten. This seems like a real local joint a mix of younger couples and individuals that know good authentic Thai food.Food we orderedGyoza:Very big chicken flavor delicious, dipping sauce maybe a little too sour.Chicken Curry Yellow:I asked for Medium spice and I absolutely got it, this is a spicy delicious curry not too coconutty chicken was cooked to perfection. I would be careful ordering any Spicer I'm guessing HOT is unbearably hot.Chicken Pad see Ew:Chicken again perfectly cooked, sauce was deliciousDrinks:Mango Thai Margarita was very unique and bursting with flavorThai Peacock IPA was also a great drink to getPrices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. They do get busy so make sure to put your name in and come back once your table is ready.

Wow! Mind blown by the flavors, speed of service, and quality of the food. One of the waiting staff seemed little rude and was hurrying one of my guests while asking for vegan options in fried rice but it’s all good and understandable given the amount of customers they deal with. Would appreciate little more patience from the wait staff.Green curry, basil fried rice was great in flavors and portions for the price. Spring rolls were very tasty and they give this cute condiments box with spices and some saucesThai iced tea was very flavorful as well! There’s some public parking adjacent to the restaurant as well

It’s the best Thai food in Portland ,The staff was very friendly , and we are luckily to get a seat on Friday evening.House combo is good to share with 2 people and got everything a taste. Also order a Tom yum soup for a cold night .Papaya salad is yummy, too .Will come here again when I visit Portland .

Thai food is one of my all time favorite cuisines, and so when a local recommended Thai Peacock during my trip to Portland, I was eager to give this place a try. I'm so glad I paused to chat with the local barista and got this recommendation. Absolutely delicious. I ordered the green curry with tofu: My go-to dish. Fantastic. I've ordered this dish from many different establishments, and this place ranks among the best. The establishment itself is cozy and cute. The staff were helpful and quick. There was a short wait before we were seated: That's what happens when a place is good. If I'm ever in Portland again, I'll go back for sure.

Went there last minute and tried most of the drinks on their menu, they were by far the BEST drinks I’ve ever had in my whole life ?

Went there about 3-4 times during my trip, the team is so nice and attentive. Made great suggestions. Soups are out of this world!
