The matcha mango was seriously so good. Plus this place has a nice calm vibe if you’re looking for a spot to read or get some work done.
I love this tea bar. One of the best in Portland hands down.
No straight black iced tea. If you order it they brew it for you and pour it over ice. Brew is super weak. With tip it costs $7 for (basically) an ice water. Ugh. Expensive, and poor quality.
Pretty high quality, but with a higher cost and smaller size that end up making it less worth it for me (just a personal preference). I’ll come if I’m in the neighborhood and haven’t had it in a while.
THE BEST!The tea itself is amazing, the vibe is laid back and comfortable, and the staff is beyond nice. As soon as you walk through these doors, you feel like family right away. A great place to work on the computer, meet with a friend, or even just have a little mid-day break by yourself!
Update: The owner reached out and apologized for the poor experience. I've gone back a few time since and the experience has been good. It's a nice place to relax or get some work done.I'm a repeat customer and last week I ordered a $7 matcha boba. Taste was good until I drank a boba that literally had someone's HAIR attached to it.I contacted the company and they've continued to read my DMs but not responding. I'm extremely disappointed.
I'm a huge fan of Tea Bar, a variety of high-quality tea-based beverages and other goodies. They have some of my favorite drinks I've tried, such as the cardamom steamer, mint majick latte, and especially the mango matcha, which I can't get alternatives anywhere else. The interior of the location is clean and calm, modern and sleek. Also, the employees at every Tea Bar, including this one, are very helpful. The girl who helped me today was super sweet. The only issue is the price, which I do think is too much on the high side, even for what you get, but I'm happy to support this business anyway.
I tried to cocoa cinnamon boba and my husband got the ginger lemon toddy. Both were so good and the employee was very sweet and helpful!
Of course, tea bar is great. What more can I say.
Love the drinks a bit too sweet but overall tasteful.
