What a great food experience! I’m not familiar with afghan food so during my first time to this food truck pod, I did a quick glance at this taste of afghan menu, and it looked like a cross between Indian and Persian food so i thought “well I already know those flavors, no need to try it…” During a recent trip back to the pod though, the smells coming out of the truck were wonderful, so I decided to dive in. Had their kefta with rice and stewed channa as well as a pan fried bread stuffed with potato. What a treat! Freshly made, deliciously seasoned. Indeed reminiscent of Indian and Persian flavors but distinct while evocative of those tastes in the best possible way. I can’t recommend enough! I’m looking forward to working my way through their menu!

Wonderful food with authentic taste. I was on visit to portland over the weekend and was not sure how good the food would be, but to my surprise really great peshawari kebab and kabelu pulao! Totally recommended!

What a great surprise! This was LEGIT Afghani food, and I loved that it's a Family business. I asked for a recommendation between the Afghan Pulao and butter chicken, and the woman said the Pulao is the best. The chicken was so nicely done, and the yogurt sauce and salad were all beautiful with fresh ingredients. Amazing flavor and value. They also offered a tasty mint tee. Thank you for the great service! Will be back.

We drove all the way over there after scheduling a pickup and paid online to tell us to cancel our order and that we won’t make it and they didn’t offer anything else. Didn’t care or bother to refund they even didn’t want to explain. I had a very bad experience. Don’t goNot recommended. No professionalism

Absolutely delicious! Tzatziki is fabulous as always and the basmati rice was light and fluffy. Everything was great and showed up super quick.

Great food, great customer service, definitely we’ll back, Thank you Mahboba!

Unfortunately not authentic. It's not bad to try the first time. The yogurt was half of a teaspoon. I've never tried yogurt where my spoon didn't get anything but touch the bottom of the container. Were they trying to j7st color it so there was no empty space? Mantu was not original Mantu. It's supposed like a dumpling. It could be better if it was made like it was at home not restraunty and cheaply made. Otherwise not awful.

excellent food !!

Comfort food/grandma's recipes. Each time I've visited the food has been excellent

Delicious, authentic and kind! I would certainly recommend this spot:)
