One hundred percent will be back. This is what Portland dining is about. Local, delicious, great service and intimate environment. The food was absolutely outstanding. Server and owner treated us amazingly. Would recommend ?

We had diner there last night and had amazing food. The owner is really friendly and has good recommendations, the food is high quality and affordable as advertised, this is a go to in Portland.

The food was awesome. Not very busy which was surprising. We made reservations and were seated right away.

Great food! A father and son run the place and are they very friendly. The restaurant is in a beautiful house too. It is a bit small inside so make reservations ahead of time for the weekends. Overall recommend trying it out.

I loved TarBoush for so many reasons. Family owned. The family is very sweet and accommodating. The food is authentic and delicious. I booked the restaurant for a small private party and everything went smoothly (minus the unexpected snow in Portland!). The food was flawless and I can't wait to be back for non business reasons. Thank you so much, Peter and family!

We stopped by intending to only order drinks. The Manhattan and martini were so good we had appetizers (cheese platter and sambousa). Those were so good we got a lamb shawarma plate, which was so incredibly soft and well seasoned. The homemade pita is served hot with just the right amount of crisp. The server and owner were so kind and attentive, and they greeted their regular customers by name. The interior is a repurposed older home, making the ambiance truly unique. This is a place we will return to and try every item on the menu!

Absolutely amazing! If you're anywhere nearby this is a must try establishment!

Best Lebanese food in Portland, maybe the whole United States. I had the best dinner of my life at this restaurant. It was the kabob special. Everything was amazing. Perfectly cooked chicken and hummus, the pita bread was baked fresh and piping hot. It could not be better. The owner runs the place with his wife, I spoke with him and he is very friendly. Maybe the best restaurant in Portland. Go there.

TarBoush is by far one of the best and most welcoming restaurants of any kind in Portland. It may well be the best and most inventive middle eastern place. There is an eclectic and killer house cocktail list (indulge in the Blood Simple!). The lentil soup is so good here get at least one large order to go before you tuck in to any meal. Host's custom sausages are perfectly spice and memorably delicious, and all kebabs are succulent. Flat breads are aromatic and perfectly presented. Decent vegetarian menu options abound. Fabulous and admirably deep list of truly excellent Lebanese wines as well. Savor it all often!

The best dining experience I have had since I have been in Portland. They are wonderful people and the food is amazing. I will be going back!
