I went to Yakahashi with my relatives that like this restaurant thr most and I can confirm that the sushi was great and deliciose. And the waitress was probably the best I've ever met. Great place for japanese food. Thank you for a great gastronomic experience.
A cute restaurant, established in 1985. It could use a spring cleaning - the interior was a little dusty, but very charming. We tried the tempura scallops and they were divine. The creamy scallop nigiri was also excellent. Unfortunately their miso ramen was a little underwhelming, and the noodles in both the miso and tonkatsu ramen bowls were overcooked. I'd eat here again - but stick to the sushi menu!

This place used to be very good before covid, but their quality dropped significantly after covid. Additionally, if you order take out, you better ask them for utensils and napkins because they will not include it in the bag or even ask you if you would like some utensils; this happened multiple time.
What a great restaurant! We had eel, salmon and one of their specialty rolls. All the fish was very fresh and the roll was absolutely delicious. I forgot to take pictures of what I ordered. Guess I’ll have to come back ?
This place is wonderful. Fresh ingredients. Very kind staff. The sushi was rolled tight and tasted so good. Many many options to choose from here including ramen. Family owned and operated. We will definitely be adding Takahashi to our list of favorites!
This place is a true hidden gem in Portland. I was skeptical at first because it was located in a strip mall, but as soon as I walk in I was amazed by its cute decoration and warm vibes. It feels like a small village restaurant in Japan. Their sushi and tempura are freshly made, really couldn't go wrong with anything! Good price, good food and service. Definitely will bring friends back to this place.
I love Takahashi. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting. The sushi is always delicious and freshly made. If you’re looking for something really spicy try the the jalapeño roll. I was not expecting that much kick but it was pleasantly surprised. My taste buds were on fire but it was so so good. Highly recommend.
Drove by this place for decades. Finally stopped in with out of town guests. Loved the vibe. We ordered many items and shared them. Very impressed. Excellent service. Tasty. Beautiful presentation. Also ordered Tempura, but ate it before this pic. Will be back for more!
