Don't know who runs the phones here but it's terrible. I called six times over a 30 minute period; the first five no one answered and went to message, the sixth time someone picked up and slammed the phone down to hang up without a word. Pizza might be good, but I couldn't even place an order. I've never left a bad review before, but slamming the phone in someone's ear after they say hello has seriously irked me.

Very friendly, warm, helpful staff. I really appreciate them, it makes all the difference. Very great with kids too, had quite a few come in while I was eating and they were very respectful and engaged with them. Great for a young person's self-esteem.I enjoyed my salad and the cheese on the vegan pizza, the sauce was tasty and had a bit of a tang.

They have good pies

I'm mystified by the rave reviews on here. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Crust was dry and flavorless. Sauce was pretty plain. Nothing special. Not very good at all.

Favorite pizza ever! I used to go over 30 years ago in downtown Salem and have loved this pizza ever since. The slices are huge, the toppings are plentiful and the staff is very dedicated to serving the customer!

NY city style, meaning thin foldable crust and not too thick toppings. It’s yummy and authentic NYC style if that’s your thing, but not the bomb for me, I prefer a bit thicker hardier crust and more toppings. It’s one of my go-to’s for carry out since I live a couple blocks away. Only minor complaint is prep time, somewhat inconsistent and at least ~30 min for a whole pie.

Cheese pizza is amazing! Best New York slice I’ve had in Portland by far.

This has to be some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. You gotta love these family owned restaurants ☺️ Pizza by the slice, outdoor seating. Super nice on a sunny day, or whenever you're craving pizza!!

This east coast girl is so happy to have finally found a place in this city that knows how to throw a pie! Perfect crust, good amount of (but not too much) cheese, and fluffy breadsticks the size of my forearm. What's not to love?

Solid pizza with a light and fluffy crust with just a little crunch. Customer service was lacking, and my slice could’ve used more time in the reheat oven… but a tall boy of Rainier and a slice of cheese pizza for $5 isn’t bad. Vibes at the restaurant (including three small tables out front in a weirdly narrow part of the sidewalk and dwarfed by the legit outdoor seating from the bar next door) mean you probably want to take this to go.
