We are from Texas and decided to have our dinner here. The waiter was awesome! Iâm pregnant and the fact that there was a mock tail menu was awesome!!!
Got a nice boothand great attentive service throughout. The Caesar salads and babyback ribs were both delicious. Nice Long Island Tea too!
Pasta was good but the chicken was super rubbery. Garlic bread was great. Chicken sandwich was terrible. Crab cakes were not bad. Mediocre cheesecake.
We used to be regulars at the Jantzen Beach Stanfords and are glad to be back. The new menu was a great variety of options. I opted for the prime rib and it was incredible along with the side of crispy brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. My hubby had the ribs and he said they were amazing. Blair was our server and he's the best server we have had in a long time. We even observed him offering to walk an elderly customer to the door, she was very appriciative. We will ask for Blair the next time we go, he needs a big raise!
Superb dinner in a charming setting. We made reservations for a busy Friday night and we were seated immediately, while our seating preferences were followed. The wait staff was very attentive and courteous. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were so flavorful, with a perfect crisp on the outside. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the chicken was juicy and seasoned just right. The cheesy bread is also amazing! We will definitely be back!
This was the most awful experience I have ever had dining in a restaurant. I go to this Stanfords very often and itâs normally great but omg I couldnât believe it. To begin our table was supposed to be ready at 7:15 but we did not get seated till 8 and the host was taking other people who came in after us and did not have a reservation! Second my friends steak was dry and so over cooked and the asparagus was raw! When I told our waiter he was very rude and took the plate not saying a word. Then she tried the steak and that was awful. We told the waiter And he pretty much told us NO ITS FINE. When he said that I couldnât believe myself I was so upset. I said very upset let me speak to your manager right now. The manager came over and was just making excuses the entire time not apologizing and being also very rude! At the end of it she wouldnât even comp the meal she just gave my friend a $25 gift card towards her meal which was a $40 meal! I cannot believe the service we had these people were awful! Iâm going to corporate this afternoon ab this :)
I would have given it 4 stars but not happy with the new menu as it is very top heavy on beef. I loved the old menu had more options. The halibut fish and chips was great, done perfectly, not dry halibut in the inside perfectly crisp. Please ad more fish and chicken options.
Took 45 minutes to get water and soda, our food didnât start to come out until the hour mark. Had a flight to catch and the staff didnât seem to care that everything was taking much longer than normal. Wonât be returning.
Didnât honor gift cards that had no experation date. Restaurant was not full and a party of 4 were seated right next to us. They were nice and only spoke in conversational tones but because there were so few people in the restaurant it was hard not to hear their entire conversation. Seating them so close to us did not improve the service or amount of attention we got
Phenomenal steaks and flavorful food. This steakhouse will not disappoint you, the mac and cheese is great. The spinach dip starter is delicious and the fried calamari is not chewy at all, super crisp. The steaks are rich and the sides complement the whole means. From the Prime Rib, Rib Eye to the Cabernet Tips they will not disappoint. It is expensive, but the flavor is worth it
