I got here at 7:20 PM the sign says closes at 8 PM the lady refused to take my order said she was sorry and she was closed. Are used to come here once a week! You would figure they honor their customers a little more. She was calling me a bunch of names in her language and telling me sorry and pointing at the door for me to leave. She made me feel like I did something wrong! She said there was no more chicken korma I had advised her I was only getting Yaki soba noodles. No chicken. I will never come to this place again!
Amazing food, and the absolute sweetest people in the world work there. Will be coming back!
Aside from the food (which is good and flavorful) the place stinks very bad like they have 10 dirty litter boxes in there and has a pungent ammonia smell. based on that I'm not sure if I want to get food from there again it's a shame cause I really like it
This was an underwhelming experience. The food was not the best, very salty. They also packaged my salad in the same box as the hot food so I had a steamed salad by the time I go home (it was soggy). Their prices have increased ~50% over the past year. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning, I wouldn't go back here again. I don't know why this showed up as a "top rated" restaurant on Trip Advisor, it is definitely not.
They bill themselves as the best teriyaki in town, and they just might be. Definitely one of the best lunch options in St. John’s.
Super quick service and it's always delicious!
Great food. Inexpensive and large quantity. String bean chicken, simple yet delicious!
This is a great little place to have lunch. They offer dine in or take out options. The food is always really good and the service is nice. I would recommend trying this place and the prices are really good.
The food was perfectly fine, but I would not recommend to vegetarians or vegans; there was exactly one non-meat dish, teriyaki tofu, and I tried to ask the staff if a different dish could be made with tofu instead, and got a strong negative response - not really sure if my question was fully understood tho, because I got the impression that their understanding of English was limited. My meat-eating friend said he liked the dish he ordered just fine, so YMMV.
Best fried rice you can get.
