Traditional light roast drip coffee for Portland. Incredible blend nonetheless b lots of bagels as you can imagine. Breakfast sandwiches
Salt & herb bagel with mango habanero cream cheese, jalapeno bagel with roasted veggies cream cheese, sesame bagel with chives cream cheese, multi grain everything bagel with vegan egg and cheddar cheese, side of vegan bacon and sausage. All bagels and cream cheese surprised me but the mango habanero was my favorite. ????

I got an uncle Sal which shld have lox but when I got home it was a regular cream cheese and onion bagel. I was charged $11 so I'm pretty sure I ordered the right sandwich.I tried calling them but no one ever answers and their mailbox is full. So I reached out online. Obviously I'm not coming back to get it fixed but that's a pretty big thing to miss in a Lox sandwich... It's the star of the show.
Okay latte. Not special but not bad. I wanted to get a bagel but the woman in front of me took so long ordering I ran out of time for anything but a quick coffee and almost didnt have time for that. Im surprised none of the other staff jumped in to help take orders when the line started forming behind me. Pity too because now I cant review their food, just the middle of the road coffee that could be had any place else in Portland.
I am not one to normally write a bad review but I have been coming here for almost a year and I am disappointed with Spielman’s disorganization. The bagels are good and the inside of the facility is clean, but I am growing tired of the mistakes they make.I have been ordering the same bagel since I started coming here, and probably 3 out of 4 of the times they get my order wrong. My order is not complicated, I order their Captain Planet bagel with no tomatoes, and they often forget to add an ingredient or three, add an ingredient I didn’t ask for, and sometimes give me an all around different order. Today when I ordered the Captain Planet, which contains hummus, greens, cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, and sprouts, I received a bagel with lettuce, hummus, and mayonnaise! Additionally, they gave me the two bottom halves of different beagles. This was especially upsetting since I payed $14 for a bagel and drink.Spielman Bagels is unorganized, overpriced and I recommend going to their other location on Division to get better better food and service.
the restaurant attendant treated me and my friend super bad! she was super rude in a simple question of what kinds of sausages they have... she replied as if my friend was retarded when asking this! and was rude all the time besides giving us food without a bag! maybe it's because we appeared tired after driving 4 hours to fight in a Jiu jitsu tournament in the city... I'm Brazilian and I've never been treated so badly in a restaurant in all the time I spend in America! it seems that there are still people who judge others by appearance! the food might be good but i will never come back to this place, and i hope they train their staff better!

Spielman Bagels and Coffee Roasters is a definite place to stop in and grab a drink. The staff is friendly and welcoming.And whether you choose to sit inside or outside, there is plenty of space to spread out.I ordered an iced coffee with a pump of vanilla and oat milk. It was smooth, rich, and flavorful. If I were hungry, I would have ordered a bagel. They looked delicious.I highly recommend this place!
Amazing bagels. Website never works, Staff usually does not answer phone, and the amount of cream cheese they put on a bagel is absolutely criminal. I can't even taste the bagel. Ruined a couple perfectly good shirts.
