If you want southern food in Portland go here. The food is so good and tastes homemade and the guys who run the place are very sweet. They make you feel very welcome and seem like they really care about the food / customers.
It was OK BBQ, it didn't really standout from any other BBQ I've had except the ribs were huge...could've let the coals burn a little longer before putting the meat on, I could taste the fuel
Excellent comfort food and something for everybody. My kids especially loved the mac and cheese & my wife said that the ribs were some of the best she has ever had! I agree with her and would add that the potato salad is equally as impressive!
They were open like they said that they would be on Memorial Monday and the ribs were falling off the bone! Should've gotten more but will definitely do it again next time.
Nothing bad to say about the fellas at this place. The food truck is kinda hidden away, and it's about a 20min wait but worth it. They have music playing and an outdoor eating area. The food was delicious I got the ribs and 2 sides the ribs were flavourful and the Mac and cheese was creamy potato salad was just average. I'll definitely will be returning since they forgot my mom's rib and offered to replace it. But the real reason is I wanna try the rest of the menu ?
Amazing Food. I will be back but with a smaller group. We did have to wait a pretty long wait for a large group that called ahead. The Service and food made up for the wait.
Over price and nothing special! I know of three food carts that I can get the same amount for $8-$10 cheaper! I had the three piece catfish with two sides and only received one hot and tater sauce for $26.
These fries are so done SO well. And I’m loving the Salmon basket. I’m Going to try and have everything on the menu over time.
Food is ok, definitely overpriced. Their taste in music is terrible though, which is unfortunate because they insist on blasting it at customers of neighboring food carts.
Came down and this place had good reviews..order the fish and chicken combo plus macaroni and cheese .yams and greens and hush puppies...boy oh boy the fish was so salty the chicken was pink and not done everything was wrong..ask for a refund and said no we could get something else..the shrimp was overly seasoned and the black eye peas had so much water in them..the potato salad was seasoned also..won't be back
