Tried Smith tea for the first time at another restaurant, and then had to go to the shop. We ended up having lunch there. We had the beet poke and the avacado toast. The beet poke was so flavorful my body did the happy dance for taste and health.
The environment is very clean and relaxing. The staffs are very friendly. I ordered a pot of Jasmine Pearls and I loved it a lot. You can refill the pot and it still tasted good. There are many different varieties of tea you can buy. It's good to start your weekend there.
Always a friendly greeting at our neighborhood tea spot on 23rd. So happy they brought the tumeric buckwheat noodle bowl back in the rotation. The lunch deal right now is hard to beat with a savory bowl, cookie and cup of tea for $13- $16. It's so satisfying and has loads of veggies for a crunchy, squishy and umami experience in your mouth. The matcha latte is superb with no upcharge for oat milk. I get mine half sweet with maple instead of the simple syrup which is standard.
I am a tea lover and believe me when I say this place has a grand selection of premium teas. There even have a tea flight each week/month, and a tea tasting everyday to taste a particular tea of their choice. Their location is perfect to stop by whenever you can. I stayed here for over 1 hour and the ambiance was good enough to get some work done. Highly recommend!
I live for the baguettes here. The herb butter, the jam, the sweet, savory perfection. The garden sandwich is always fresh, flavorful, and filling. The people are always so kind and willing to answer any questions about their many aromatic teas.
Amazing little tea shop with surprisingly fresh food. We had the matcha latte and lavender tea latte - matcha was really high quality and wonderful flavor while the lavender was just perfect. We got the avocado toast and breakfast bowl. The avocado toast was okay - a little too much seasoning. The breakfast bowl was mind blowing - the oats were creamy and all the toppings worked well together. Can’t wait to come back :)
Started going because they’re right next to my place of work. I’ve continued to go because the teas, snacks, and staff are all phenomenal! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable should you need help choosing a tea. And I’ve never had a less than exceptional cup out of all the varieties I’ve tried!
Excellent foodVery fresh and tastyI’m not a tea drinker but my friend is so we went for lunch. The stone fruit salad was amazing - so good that I brought a different friend the next day. I’ve been back several more times. I enjoyed my forager’s bowl - tons of veggies and loads of noodles.I do the special that gets me a cup of tea and a cookie for the extra price of $2.50
I got the Ice Cream Royale Latte based on the recommendations of another reviewer and they were right; it was so good. I would definitely get that latte again. I also got the Forager's Noodles and wow, that soup bowl was jam packed- squash, shiitake mushrooms, mint, basil, other greens (lol, idk exactly what they are but they were so good), bok choy, buckwheat noodles -so delicious- and the broth. I think the description said it was a smoked tea based broth; so so so good. It made for a very delicious bowl. Also, the broth has some chili oil and I think there were some slices of jalapeños(?) I'm not exactly sure, but fearing that they were jalapeños, I took them off (not a spicy food lover). That being said, I did find there to be a little heat, but I still thought it was great. At the time when I ate this, it was raining so it was all perfect.
Great tea selection, very nice space, incredibly friendly and helpful staff!
