No getting around it it’s a dive bar. But the food and drinks selections are quite good and there’s pool tables and plenty of places to sit.
I travel all over for work. by far some of the best food anywhere, and there prices are awesome. love this place.

I remember this place from when I was a small kid and my Father would take us there every morning to eat. He was allowed to help himself behind the counter because he too had already been going there for years and was friends and help to/with the owner. I remember loving the food when I was young and plan on visiting again one day as an adult.I am in hopes to find some photos of my father and hope that a place like this will have them on the wall as memorabilia and will share one or two of them with me. I have called them before about this but unfortunately they have not reached out to me sense then.Should add.... I do not have ANY photos of my dad. :( IF they do and can get some to me by messenger so I can print them out, that would be amazing!!! His name was "Ralph Leeper"

I pretty much lived here for my first 2 years in Portland. Best dive bar food ever, great staff, the owners are the best. Hamad and Michay (sorry no idea how to spell it either) know what's up! Good pours, live music and open mic on Tuesdays, gross carpet, ornery old-timers and young people in the mix and lots of blurry memories. A true glorious dive and a St. John's institution. Did I mention the food? Curry and braised beef pasta and steak salad and burgers are good. Plus specials. I would go there just for the food.
Great true hipster vibe. A staple in downtown Saint Johns. Try their curry! Tastey A.F! Pool. Pinball. Heavy handed drinks and K.A. bartenders. Even better on a busy night.
Best dive bar in St. John's, hands down. Great staff, great atmosphere. Also, the food has no business being so good and so affordable.
Their menu is out of this world a truly ecliptic mic. East meets west & in the middle. The staff is friendly & knowledge
First time, heard good things. We were there briefly but everything was dope. Cool old-school vibe, nice looking pinball, food was solid, friendly and good bartenders. What more would I ask for?
