My daughters ( 2 & 4 ) received a gift card for their birthdays. We tried it out after making a reservation.The food selection was diverse and everything tasted amazing. Definitely recommend getting the buttermilk and the chocolate to make fun pictures in the pancakes. Lattes were bomb. The mushroom forest scramble with goat cheese? :: chef's kiss ::The staff was on top of it. Like wow. Portland is suffering a massive shortage of food workers and these guys were a bit short staffed but doing their best. I was in awe of the bus boy. He was like a machine! Our waitress was very sweet to my 4 year old and overall was very efficient and friendly.We'll definitely be back even after the gift card runs out.
An Amazing breakfast spot!I’ve been enjoying deliciousness here off & on over the past several years. I road trip an hour, 55 min for this & I am never disappointed!This place can get busy so prepare for possible wait times. I recommend reservations but it’s not required. Customer service is always on point.Our visit was 4/7 arriving about 10:45a. We didn’t make reservations and had less than a 10 min wait *PERFECT*The do it yourself pancakes and topping are always a hit. Buttermilk & chocolate batter were chosen along w/strawberry, blueberry & chocolate chips for toppings.The days special was Pork Belly Benedict but the classic Country Fried Steak is what went down. ? I can’t wait to return.
Everything here was so delicious. I got the lavender lemonade which had the perfect balance of lemonade and lavender, the turkey bacon because I don't like real bacon but it tasted exactly like real bacon except with the turkey taste. Delicious . And then me and my family got two bottles of chocolate and vanilla batter Plus a bunch of toppings. The experience was so fun and so worth it the pancakes were absolutely delicious and super fun to draw on the grill. ??
This place was absolutely awesome. The atmosphere is so cool, and the lobby itself is a well thought out mid century diner feel.Most tables are equipped with a griddle for you to make your own waffles, and you're able to pick out a decent selection of toppings and other goodies to throw on (or in!) Your pancakes.Service was fast, efficient, and friendly! We decided to go here about an hour before closing time, and they were very friendly despite our late arrival!Overall, this is an awesome, if a bit quick, experience that you should definitely give a shot. Their pancake batter was absolutely awesome!!
Love love loved it! Fun and delicious. The bloody Mary was delicious, pancakes fluffy and tasty. The candied bacon was all I expected and the loaded potatoes were a surprising treat. The service was great, they were kind and didn't rush us, although we came in at 1. Will definitely be back.
This the the best breakfast experience ever. The pancakes were delicious and so much fun to make. We got the vegan batter and one serving was more than enough for two people. There are tons of options for toppings and if you're not a pancake person they have other things like eggs, potatoes, sausages etc. They even have cocktails which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely make reservations unless you ok with a pretty long wait.
Great breakfast and you can make your pancake is the best way to enjoy and eat panckae and they have a seasonal flavor for pancake orange vanilla and its really good. The server Rebekah is great server she is super nice and so accommodating. Love it i highly recommend slappy cake and don't forget if you have kids please bring them with you they will enjoy it like my kids did.
Friendly staff. Fun experience cooking pancakes at your table. Good selection of toppings, although I wish they had Marionberries. Staff did a good job of social distancing tables.
This place is cool and very unique.We enjoyed our visit. As others mentioned, we wish they had smaller topping choice. We added on lots of topping because that's fun but couldn't use all of the amount and it got expensive. The place was way busier and louder than I thought.
