This is my first time here and it was amazing. The staff was nice and the vibe was laid back. I’m definitely making this one of my stable restaurants.
I gave this place a 5 star rating in years past but unfortunately like many businesses, covid is the excuse for a decline in quality. Their biscuits and gravy was heavenly before covid. That homemade gravy sauce was to die for. I was even willing to pay for the recipe. This last time I went in April 2022, I got basic white straight-out-of-the-packet cheap gravy. It was flavorless and thick. They also changed their biscuits and it's size to small, cheap, flavorless basic Sysco style biscuits. The prices were still the same. I would be willing to pay a lot more for their old biscuits and gravy recipe which was way better and the reason I was a regular back in the day. I'm disappointed in this cute little cafe taking a nose dive in quality. I won't be returning unfortunately.

Food was delicious. Entry way/ check in is awkward and the door squeaks badly every time it opens and for family members with sensory issues it was not ideal. Staff was very friendly, service was good once we were seated

Sundays are always busy and a bit chaotic, I totally get that as a server.But what really ruined the experience was the bus girl complaining and making comments about how the paying customers left the table. They had kids. Kids make messes. Those comments were unprofessional.We also bought lattes that were literally cold milk in a cup.The server we had; Emily, was SO SWEET.She's a good one! She could tell we weren't very pleased with the lattes and had them removed without us asking.aside from a kind server (that saved the experience) we also liked the great tasting, fresh, food. So by the end of our experience we were happier for sure.Quality control and professionalism are the two main takeaways here .
I can't believe I've never tried tried this place until today, but I'm glad I did. The chicken fried steak was delicious and crispy. The service was great and I will definitely be back.
Six corners Cafe is overall excellent. Except when they changed their biscuits and gravy recipe. They had excellent homemade biscuits and a sausage gravy that couldn't be beaten anywhere else in Portland. Now it's a bland white sauce with bits of meat smothered over Hawaiian rolls.

When I go to restaurants I typically have the same favorite item every time but at Six Corners everything tastes great and I usually have something different each time I go there. (FYI their hollandaise sauce is different than any other and is to die for). The staff is amazing! They are so nice and always have great customer service. I usually go there with my father who has a black hole when it comes to coffee. They always bring him the largest mug they have (they even have a large Green Bay Packers mug they let him use since it's his favorite football team). It's a small breakfast/ brunch diner and only open until 2pm. Their prices are good with the amount of food that you get. I highly recommend this place! Definitely a 5 star in my opinion.
