It is pretty expensive but the tiki masala is to die for! Before covidtheir lunch buffet was by far the best deal. Definitely more bang for your buck with a nice variety of foods. Most workers aren't very friendly, but one main gentleman is always so nice, polite, and helpful. I spend more money here than I'd like to admit, but I love their food. I will say the, they use chicken breast in their tikka masala, and a few times, it's been way overcooked and rubbery. But that's the risk you run using white meat instead of brown in such a dish. Bummer because I much prefer the breast over thigh meat as I don't typically eat dark meat. Oh, their gulab jamun(sp??), A dessert dish is my absolute favorite!!! I've tried so many times to replicate it to no avail. Their Naan is good too. Though I prefer the regular plain. My husband's favorite dish is the tandoori Chicken and the biryani along with Tikka or butter chicken (extremely similar)
Love it. We come here once a month. (For years now) It’s our favorite go-to Indian restaurant. Everything is so very good. It’s simple, fast, easy and always consistent.
Ordered 2 Naan, 1 Chicken Tikka Masala, 1 Chana Masala and 1 Tava Roti. The naan’s were excellent. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a very strong and overpowering tomato paste taste. Chana Masala was cooked properly however the after taste of the masala also had a very strong tomato flavor. The tava roti was too thick which led it to being a bit raw. Overall 7/10
A wonderful out-of-the-way place with top notch food and attentive service. Every dish was excellent. Highly recommended.
The madras coffee was spot on although it looked different to my expectations.Nan and paneer Tikka masala were great.Had I stopped there I would have given 4 stars. But then, fried rice was a disaster. This is not the typical Indian fried rice (expected it to be white in color). It would have been great without the tomato sauce or ketchup. Please fix it soon.Decent Indian restaurant but not the perfect one for any dish. Better order something based on the reviews to avoid disappointments.
The waiter who took our order was just rude from the get go and seemed not interested at all in entertaining us. The food tasted a day old, as if it were heated in a microwave. Especially the chicken 65 we ordered tasted like day old frozen fried chicken mixed with a spicy sauce.Would not recommend the food. Please save your money for real fresh food.
Best Indian in Portland by far! My partner and I have tried all the other popular Indian spots, and none really come close. We usually get the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan, and it’s consistently delicious every time. Service is not always the best, but the food more than makes up for that.
Food was good, definitely don't think the portions and pricing were matched. Probably wont go again. Service was pleasant. Atmosphere was comfortable as well.
Ordered delivery, first time at Siri. Food was okay but not great. Ordered butter chicken mild for daughter and to make it milder they added tomato sauce but it didn't cook out enough so very strong raw tomato flavor. Chicken korma VERY onion heavy and that was all that could taste. Dal makhani was not the traditional creamy makhani...it was more like a daal tadka but with black lentils. It was very oily and not terrible but not at all what makhani usually is like. Naan was good. Would not order again.
This place seemed vacant when we went about 6-8 weeks back. Sorry about 1 star but it does not let me write this I do. I would like to know if they are still open?
