Put in a very large takeout order for a group of people just a few evenings ago. Everything was ready on time. Almost all of the food was excellent, fresh, well made, good sized portions. There was one issue with a mixup (ordered 2 tofu dishes that were supposed to be vegetarian but arrived with bonito fish flakes.) But the owner was extremely gracious, apologetic and made an adjustment. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.
The seats are higher than normal, kids friendly as advertised. Tried sushi, above average quality fish and taste. Tried bento box, better than expected, they are more like “move quality than quantity” side. Black garlic ramen worth a try here as well, interesting taste than others. The restaurant has a deep Japanese style furnish inside, not seeing many in the US. I like it.
I enjoyed a delicious meal here. The sushi was yummy. I gave it three stars because the menu is fine but not inspiring. Still, what I ordered was good and I do recommend enjoying a meal here. The service is friendly and speedy. The atmosphere is comfortable. A fine choice that would earn more stars for a menu that reflects a thoughtful and inspred connection with the food.
The butter fish miso was super soft and delicious. Butter tonkatsu ramen was great too. The wait wasn't too long and the bathrooms were very clean. Tempura was a bit of a let down, one of them was just a slice of onion that had been deep fried into tempura.
Good quality sushi. It's on an average price. Nothing too expensive or cheap. I would say it's a good place to eat once and a while. I didn't have to wait on a Saturday night to get a seat so that was a plus.
this is my favorite Restaurant in my area.Everything I have had has been excellent. So many thing on menu and so many great choices,Very very clean great service.Which is rare for Portland.
This restaurant is consistently so delicious. I love the atmosphere. Ideal for romantic dinners. The food is top drawer and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was enjoying myself so much when I ate there recently that I totally forgot to get a pic which I must admit is rather rare.
Great experience! We had sushi here and it was not only very good tasting, but also looked amazing. The sushi chef works behind a glass wall right in the dining area and you can watch the whole process if you like. The sushi is a little expensive, but worth the price. Also, the house green tea was amazingly only $1.00, so they don't gouge you like so many places tend to do these days.Would definitely recommend going!
The waitress was very nice and attentive in taking my order. I enjoyed the seed weed salad and the sushi I ordered. The menu has much to offer. I look forward to going back for more variety. Thanks guys! :)
One of the best sushi restaurants in Portland! The sushi is always exceptional and the owner and staff are too. Truly an outstanding family and minority owned authentic restaurant and experience. We've been coming here for over 10 years and can't recommend it highly enough!
