Amazing, healthy lunch bento. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Looking forward to coming back.

Fantastic and inventive food. We are always happy with our meals and impressed with the level of care and attention to detail we find.

Love it!!! I will go bk for sure❤️❤️❤️

Chef Naoko at Shizuku is an extremely talented, thoughtful and nuanced cook. We enjoyed many pre-covid dine in meals there. Now her takeout menu raises the bar. We are especially fans of the omakase bento which offers up a large array of carefully crafted flavorful dishes, each individually delicious and meant to both contrast and compliment each other. This is the most expensive item on her menu, but at $32 with even tip included it is the killer bargain of the takeout world. The other menu choices are naturally also both delicious and bargains. These aren't simple foods jammed into simple plastic containers and bags, they artfully presented composed in a high quality disposable bento box. Grab a bottle of sake or chablis, order up and help keep this Portland jewel healthy through these difficult times.

I tried the covid friendly to go menu and could not have been more impressed. Ordered:Curry riceGyozaChicken wingsShumaiBeet Mochi.First of all, the packaging was so fantastic, opening off of these little bamboo boxes was a delight, and all the sauces were carefully sealed. Wonderful presentation, premium experience, absolutely tremendous. The shumai and chicken wings were good but not incredible however the curry rice was life altering. I could not believe how thick, rich, and deep the texture and flavors went. The side salad and even the rice were absolutely incredible. Gyoza was spectacular and the house made dipping sauce was a revelation. Beet Mochi was beautiful and delicious both. I honestly could not say enough about the curry rice however, I think I will likely have dreams about it.

The precision, care, and attention to detail involved with the food here is really admirable. Homey yet high-class, everything I had was incredibly delicious and I applaud their dedication to cooking good, high quality food.

Absolutely wonderful place to spend Valentine's day. Quality of ingredients and a very welcoming staff makes this place fantastic.

Had tonkatsu bento and currv udon for lunch. Those taste was good. They are really Japanese styled but using the well-selected vegetables and meats. The restaurant interior is very stylish and Japanese modern. Their staffs are polite and friendly.

The reviews led us to this lovely Japanese restaurant for lunch (as their dinner reservations were booked thru the month of February); but also seeing they served organic options! The meals (teriyaki chicken & miso tonkatsu) were beautifully presented, along with the ambiance, music & restaurant design. However if you're in a rush or only have 1 hr; definitely try for dinner instead. The servers were sweet & attentive, but very slow. The 18% gratuity was a surprise considering the slowness in delivery however we will try dinner to compare soon.

First time visit this Japanese restaurant. Love the interior decoration and the food was great using local ingredients farm to table concept. Few things we feel unsatisfied was the service is little slow kind like disorganized even they have three staffs in the front. Also the menu wasn’t clear enough for added lunch tray what is included! The last is the 18% tip is added to our bill! I think it’s a little bit aggressive. If they going to charge that much then the over all service should be improved. For We living in Vancouver BC for lunch only charge 10-15% tip by how the customers feels so little bit too much!
