Good dinner but the experience could have been better.My friend and went to our closest Shari's (where we go fairly often) for dinner.We were little surprised, upon arrival, that there didn't seem to be a full complement of pies but didn't give it a lot of thought or attention.We both ordered the small ("senior") fish and chips, which we very much enjoyed.The restaurant wasn't crowded, so we thought it took unnecessarily long for our server to check on us (since she was serving the table next to ours and another only a few feet away) but, once we got her attention, she was very attentive and helpful.When it came time to order dessert, we learned that they were again out of strawberry pie (they hadn't received any the last time we were there, either (on Father's Day weekend). Our server was also surprised that they didn't have any on July 4th and had no explanation.As I reviewed the pie offerings on the menu, it appeared that several old standbys were also missing. For a chain that includes pies in its name, I find this very disappointing.
Legit one of my favorite Shari's ever. Sorry if you had a bad experience here, buuuuuut it's always been great for our family. We've come here a few times since my husband had to come to the area to work out of town, and it's a great place to just pop in and grab a lazy brunch. The service has been excellent even when they were training someone. Food is hot, coffee is strong, and the place was clean. Look, I don't really expect much from a Shari's; I'm happy with a 3.5 honestly. But this one is a full on 5. I hope you try it because they're really nice here and the food has always been good. PS get them hashbrowns stuffed. There is no excuse not to. If you're already eating fried potatoes, a little cheese isn't gonna kill ya.
Picked up breakfast for my wife on mothers day and was super busy and got food pretty fast considering the volume of people. Customer service was great and the food was excellent ?.
I always get what I ordered, prepared with some care and flavor, the wait staff is always really nice. My favorite stop for breakfast if I'm not at home...
Mom and I experienced a quiet atmosphere where we could catch up. Pies were a little dried out. The service was Friendly and attempted to make up for the disappointment.
Great staff they were very friendly and went out of there way to far exceed customer satisfaction. This place usually looks busy based on the parking lot however rarely is it super busy. Restaurant was clean bathrooms were clean. I would suggest this sharis NJ

The atmosphere is very different from day to night. In the morning there are friendly and attentive servers who will remember to fill up your drink no matter how busy they are. They also engage you in short conversations and check in throughout the meal.I decided I want to come by last night around 630 pm. It wasn't terribly busy - there were two other tables besides ours, and our drinks were not refilled once the entire time we sat. The server was terse and didn't check in on us once we got our meal. My bf and I have both worked in customer service so I get that bad nights sometimes happen, but then I noticed she gave much better service to another family with children who sat down shortly after us. I don't know what that was about, but it was frustrating. I recommend only going in the morning.
