Really loved Shalom Y'all! The atmosphere is very modern and clean. Food was excellent. The roasted cauliflower, tahini & humus was full of flavor. Every dish was thoughtfully created for a wonderful Mediterranean meal. I would definitely go back.
This is a wonderful place for a family to sample Israeli food. The kitchen turns out a series of dishes that are perfect for passing around. Each plate is freshly made and presented right from the kitchen. There is no "warming" table here. All of us went home well filled. It was an evening in which we were sad to say Shalom (good bye) and looking forward to saying Shalom (hello) again.
Excellent food and many vegetarian options. They will bring an ingredient list for those with allergies. Prompt service. Indoor and street side dining. Indoor dining requires proof of vaccination
We had a reservation, were seated promptly even though we are early. They do check vaccination proof. We ordered some cocktails and mint tea that were delicious. For food we ordered the eggplant, pita, chicken kabobs, braised lamb and the rice.It was all very flavorful and delicious.Overall it was very enjoyable and I would recommend it.
This was our first time eating here. We were FLOORED with how great everything tasted and the service was great. Regularly checked on us, remove empty plates without us ever having to ask them to, described all the different elements in each dish they brought out, our drinks were PERFECT (I HIGHLY SUGGEST the drink i got, i dont rememer the exact name of it but i was the one with thyme.... just perfect!) We even had to get a second order of our appetizer to-go because it was just so good (we had the hummus and crispy cauliflower)
This place could be our new favorite restaurant in Portland. The flavors were amazing. The staff was kind and attentive. Cocktails were perfectly created. Sad to see the neighborhood around it looking like a third world country with homelessness, but it’s safe and worth the trip!
Deeply rooted drink was delicious. Shalom y’all plate was good. Hanger steak plate was delicious! Beautiful and fun ambiance. Pita was one of my favorites I’ve had!
We went in to Shalom Y’all not knowing what to expect. My husband had been craving lamb chops for the last couple of weeks and he was so happy to see them on the menu. I can say that he cleaned the bones and commented that they were the best lamb chops he’s ever had. The pita bread was the most warm, flavorful and stretchy bread ever that we ordered a second round with our labneh. Everyone that attended to us were absolutely wonderful, friendly and inviting to talk to. We especially would like to call out Selena Manoha. She was so warm and friendly. This restaurant has joined our top 5 favorites and we can’t wait to return!
Stopped in for happy hour and the food was mindblowingly good! The hummus, fried artichoke labneh, and chicken bharat are all so delicious. And the pita is perfection. I wish I could remember the name of our server because he was awesome and gave us the best recommendations. I can't wait to go back!
The food here was perfect in every way, but what knocked this visit out of the park was the incredible service! Every staff member was kind, thoughtful and on top of everything! It was a little loud and the server misheard what I ordered and they didn't bat an eye and fired the correct dish up right away. We ended up with so much food and absolutely everything was delicious! The one dish which took me by surprise was the Baked Broccoli and Feta. My friend had ordered it and while it didn't sound especially exciting to me, it ended up being my favorite thing on the table. I would order this every time! The freekah and winter citrus salad was also steller, this restaurant groups salads are always fantastic. Everything was really top notch, the ambiance was great and I loved getting to watch the chefs carefully craft all of the food. Can't wait to go back! I think I have now visited all of the restaurants from this group and Shalom y'all is definitely my new favorite.
