Have eaten there many time's, awesome food, inside or outside is great also.If you haven't had lunch there yet you should try it I know you will like it ask Mikey.You are on the Columbia River, views are awesome, F-15 take offs are fantastic and so are the Commercial flights.
A great place to stop in for a bite to eat. Great staff, wide variety of menu items to choose from. The food prepared for us was great. Had the Ceasar salad with blackened salmon and it was perfect. We'll be going back to try more items off of the menu.

We had two appetizers with our entrees so it "looks" expensive. Food & service were good. The place is on the waterfront, with a deck for outside dining overlooking the river.
Had the Beer battered halibut with fries, garlic bread, and coleslaw. Also had a couple of beers. Cool place with a nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Patio opens on April 1st. Also it was happy hour, so discount drinks!
3 star is to harsh for my first time to be there. Reason... on arrival there was no place to sit...so we waited by the door....bartender and also a waitress tried to find us a place to set....waited for 5 minutes possibly more the bartender said we couldn't wait there by the door...we had to move...no problem if she had come up to us and said that. No we have to hear this over 3 to 4 foot away and loud enough hear over the crowd that was already there.As to the location and the establishment . Top notch..beautiful and restaurant looked very clean. We loved it.. we just came at a bad time..very busy place so it must be good...we will try again while we are up here working.
I've been eating at The Sextant for decades. The food, drinks and service is always great. Best fish & chips in the north end of town. Summer evenings on the deck overlooking the river with a cold drink rocks!
I love this place! I've driven by many times, but last night my friends took me to dinner there before a trip to the airport. Big space, lots of video lottery and big TVs with sports (they were showing wrestling when I was there which made me very happy.) A very nice outside porch and smoking area. Friendly service. The food was pub-standard--not the best I've ever had, but huge portions and reasonable prices. Overall an warm, relaxed place to spend an evening with friends.
My friends and I have been there twice, and plan another trip next month. The Sextant is very welcoming, and Anna has been our host both times. She's a delight. The food is good, and not expensive, and the bar has good mimosas! The 1st time we were there it was raining cats and dogs. This last time, was sunny, and the river was pleasant to see. Zoe
Not usually critical because I work in same industry not far, but service was slow and staff didn't seem to be on the same page. Heidi was very kind, but evidently had to rely on bartender far too much. Sorry, my place of employment we work as a team. Saw a table served before us AFTER we had been there BEFORE them. Different server for table right next to us. Food was good.
