Ran in to grab a cold brew. Staff was nice but the drink seemed extremely watered down and very tasteless, like water. It was a hot day so maybe they were running low because even the color was super super light? For almost 6$ I was very disappointed with my first experience.
Long overdue feedback- lowered stars because of subscription service. Visited this location several years ago and can give it 5 stars as I loved the coffee and became a subscription customer until December of last year. I want to note that the bags of coffee you subscribe are 12oz but the bags you receive say 16oz, confusing right? Then when you weigh it in is 11oz including the bag (most of the times not always). I kind of ignored that as the roasted coffee was really that good. What got me to unsubscribe is that when I got a monthly bag stollen( never received) from my front door the manager(or owner , can't recall) promised a replacement but I never received it and this person never replied to my last email. Wrote this review so late because I was missing the coffee and thinking of getting the subscription service back , then it brought back those memories and I decided to skip that idea.
Waited 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter at 9:40 on a Thursday, then was condescended and talked down to for the beverage I wanted. It cost 6$ for a 16oz and honestly couldn't tell the difference between it and one those latte dispenser at a hotelGo anywhere else on the street for coffee
Friendly staff, stellar iced oat milk latte & delicious vegan cupcakes. Highly recommend!!! Can’t wait to go back.
Despite how pretty this shop is the coffee is unfortunately some of the worst I’ve had. We ordered two different cold brews, a latte, and a drip coffee. Each and every one of them was undrinkable. Avoid this place at all costs; free hotel coffee is going to be better than this place
The coffee and view are good but the music is making me want to slash my wrists.
Stop here, get refreshed. Take home a t-shirt. Share with those you love. Good coffee, good people. Become a regular.
I came in today (apparently it's spring break) and there was a huge line.. The barista was working alone and as a fellow service industry employee, I know how frazzling it CAN be. They were polite, patient and pulled beautiful shots and still took the time to provide a quality experience.
Just wanted to say this spot is great. I’m there pretty much daily since I work nearby. Every single person who works this location is literally so sweet and kind . Thanks for making my coffee breaks enjoyable! Also, the Chai is freakin delicious :)
I had high hopes for the location on Hawthorne being that it's in such a cute part of town this the shop itself is esthetically pleasing. I'm not sure if the person working the shop today was just having an off day or what but the experience from the moment I walked in until the end was unpleasant. The person working was not friendly and didn't listen to the order given. Not sure if this places charges extra for alternative milk, but I ordered a drink with almond milk and was given one with vitamin d dairy milk. I'd pass on the breakfast sandwich if I were you. The eggs had a green hue to them, I'm assuming because how they were prepackaged and preserved. I'll try a different shop altogether next time over this one.
