This was a cute place to get a quick drink, particularly during happy hour. They had $2 Coors Light and $3 wells. The outdoor space is the highlight.
Super paranoid gay bar, no seats at the bar, if one hasn’t learned about Covid? Very uncomfortable bar, maybe just for their friends! Nothing close to the bar on 10th and Stark.
It's hard to explain, especially to those who are just reading this and hoping for some insight into Portland's gay scene, but the vibes have been different in the past several months. Maybe there was a shift in clientele from the pandemic? Maybe it's the weird no privacy bathrooms? I dunno. It's still a fine place for downtown visitors, and the patio is nice, but better vibes can be found at Rebel Rebel and, some nights, Stag.
Vibe is super fun. Tall Bartender got mad at me for not standing in a line…it’s a bar. There was no line. I’m confused and offended.
Chill smallish spot with a good patio
Obnoxious and unreasonable. The guy at the door told me to ‘fuck off’ after he wouldn’t accept a green card cos it wasn’t on his list. Avoid.
This place does NOT have the values of a gay bar. We arrived there after travelling from Vegas and NYC, we had some great drinks in a mainstream bar then thought we'd support a queer establishment. After waiting 5 minutes at an empty bar to be served, we didn't even get a hello, but a demand for ID, after presenting DRIVING LICENSES, we were told to leave as we weren't American. Having used this ID in Mexico, NYC, Nevada and Seattle, this judgey, self indulgent, bouncey fringed 'barman' made us feel so unwelcome we left. SHAME on you for being an (empty) bar on HARVEY MILK street. As a queer activist visitor who's been to hundreds of gay bars around the world, this is a bad example of our community. I hope managent reads this and changes their welcome! SCANDALous.
I could go on a rant but let's just say it wasn't worth the time or money I spent there. It was the first/last time I will be doing so.

I really wanted a cuppa hot cocoa, and our wonderful bartender served it up with a generous portion of whipped cream. Thank you! ?
