The food was below mediocre. Macerated in sesame oil and horribly bland. The chicken ramyun i ordered. Colossal dallop of gouchujiang. On both orders, wasn't tempered at all so it overtook the broth both times making it horribly bitter and akaline. Rendering the dish inedible both times.Broth itself was creamy but very salty and had an off smell. The chicken was bland, eggs were overcooked. Noodles were like that from a pack of instant ramen.Got the kfc too, 3 orders in fact. Very grisly, bland and big. One would think charging $8 for 3 pieces of chicken you'd knock it out of the park, but nope. The fact they used corn flakes doesn't help. Detracted horribly from the chicken and didn't stay crispy at all.Soy based sauce was practically soy sauce left on the burner then salvaged poorly with sugar. The ginger wasn't present at all. Orange ginger glaze was equally disappointing, no real flavor at all besides sweetness from orange juice. The chicken had absolutely no salt whatsoever beyond add soy sauce which was probably low sodium kikkoman.Pro: huge portions.Cons: everything else.Would heavily advise not going anywhere near this place if you enjoy food and keeping your money.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Ordered the Not Sorry plate and it did not disappoint! The flavors are incredible and vibrant! Def looking forward to going back and trying other things off the menu!
Having this ramyun took me right back to living in Korea. Absolutely outstanding bowl of yumminess. Lots of noodles that are the perfect texture, loads of flavor in the broth, tofu was mouth-watering. My new favorite place to go for something comforting on a chilly day.
Just came by today and everything was delicious!Portions are generous and the prices are great, definitely will be coming again to try more dishes from the menu
Wouldn’t get the chicken ramyun again but the drumsticks were fire. 6 fat pieces for only $8
So incredibly good! I ordered the spicy pork sandwich and the gochujang wings. They were both delicious, but the wings were my favorite. I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Portland!
Very good, will be back again. Was on the fence between their signature bowl and a special that sounded good and the owner suggested the special saying it was his personal favorite thing he's made for the restaurant. It was incredible. This place is legit.
I’m addicted to the fried chicken. I can’t stop thinking about it and it doesn’t help it’s a few mins from work. I got a bunch for a super bowl party and it was a huge hit. The soy garlic is a must but the spicy red sauce they got is amazing too. It says spicy but it’s not too hot. Paired with Rice with brown gravy and fried egg may not seem like it works but it does. Get the KFC curry combo it’s the best.
Stopped by here for the first time, and had the Chicken Dwen-Jang. Very delicious ramen with green onions, egg, seaweed and bean sprouts. Will definitely have this again!
Ordered the chicken ramyun— Halfway through my meal, chomped down on a two-inch chicken bone. So glad I didn’t swallow it, that thing was sharp…Honestly, the flavors were all pretty bland. It’s certainly edible, but definitely not worth choking on a stray chicken bone for.
