Best Pupusas in Oregon! The ceviche is out of this world ?! The Chevere is fantastic. You need to check them out you will not regret it. Amazing owners too Tony and Denice make you feel like family everytime you see them. I started eating there in October and now I eat there twice a week.
Delicious pupusas at an amazing price. Shared the chicharron and pork, bean and cheese pupusas along with the Valentine’s Day crawfish special. The flavor of everything was outstanding. I can’t wait to come back and try the ceviche!
Pupusas with eggs for breakfasts are amazing, the nachos were delicious! Im glad i was able to finally try their food and i was blown away by how delicious everything was!
Salvi PDX is not your average Salvadoran food spot. The pupusas are worth every single penny. They are huge and the flavor just pops. I see some people complaining about the price without even trying. That's insane! You don't go to Chart House and say I can get another steak at Applebee's for 15 bucks? I have tried pupusas all over Oregon and hands down Salvi PDX is the best. Others skimp on the cheese, or you can't taste the chicharron over all the fillers they use to stretch the pork. You get what you pay for fits perfectly with Salvi PDX. You get an explosion of flavors they don't skimp on the cheese. I get cheese in every bite. The queso con Loroco you can taste the loroco it's not like other places where you can barley tell what loroco is. One Salvi PDX pupusa is equivalent to two normal size pupusas. The service I get every time I feel like family. The ceviche is also out of this world. They deshell the Dungeness themselves it doesn't get any fresher than that. You can taste the freshness. All their food is all killer no filler. Please continue doing what your doing. We are grateful to have you in the neighborhood.
Overpriced. $7 each popusa is a flat-out robbery. Plenty of other places in Portland that have cheaper and tastier popusas, such as Korita Sabor/$4.50 each, better taste, more options, and way better price. Sorry but with this price, never again. In my hometown of Houston, the standard cost for each popusa is $1.50... I get Portland is more expensive in every way, which is why I don’t hesitate to pay $4-$4.50 at other places but here at $7 GIRLL BYEEEEEE! You may fool the white people that don’t know better, but y’all something else. ??
Salvi has the best Papusas, Ceviche, guac, and Pan con Chumpe (salvadorian turkey sandwich). Truly the best people and delicious food, plus Leikem is a superb brewery!
