Flavors were great! My only critique was of my dish “Kahlúa Moho Pork”. It was described as “Hawaiian” and it felt pretty much entirely Cuban and was missing the sauce that was supposed to accompany. It was just ok, which was a bummer for being the most expensive entree on the menu. The Plantains we ordered as an appetizer, however, were the star of the show. Honestly I could have just ordered them and been a happy camper!
They had great food and great service . We went there only because my husband heard of the GREAT BALLS OF FIRE contest. He ate them and survived it and they put your picture on the wall. I got a salad and the onion rings from the happy hour menu and they were tasty. We are looking forward to going back and trying some of the other food on the menu. Would highly recommend
Very neat little place! Had a wonderful lunch here, surprisingly tasty vegetarian options!*The veg. tamale was so good! Beautiful and had all the goodies! Not a skinny little tamale!*Sweet potato fries were SAWEEET! (Would be killer with pink fry sauce)*Guacamole was awesome, a little too limey for me but my son and daughter-in-law thought it was perfect!*Tofu torta was tasty.Perfect, friendly service, wasn’t crazy busy which was NICE!Portions were generous and the presentations of the dishes were nicely placed and served on my favorite home dishes, Fiestaware!
One of our favorites in the area and always has delicious food. We've tried a ton of different things on the menu and everything is a winner. The Molly's tamales are my ho to but everything is great.
I am so incredibly bummed! I haven’t had Salvador Molly’s in forever and was craving one of their (normally) great tamales. I feel bad giving them 2 stars, but given my tamale was dry and crusty (like it was leftover from yesterday or beyond and had been microwaved a few times…with the normally moist masa becoming more like a very dry cornbread), my beans and rice were cold, and there was one wet tortilla chip randomly in the container. Unfortunately, after having craved one of their tamales for quite awhile, the one I got tonight went in the trash and I won’t likely chance a second round as $13.50 for a tamale that went in the trash seems a tad steep for a redo.
Such a diverse menu. We ordered takeout. My catfish poboy had an amazing sauce on it.
Food was great, server/bartender didn't seem to interested in his job.
Stopped in for lunch and we ordered the Catfish Po’boy sandwich and the Kalua Mojo Pork and both were delicious! We received our food in a timely manner and the service was good. We will be back for dinner and drinks soon!
One of my neighborhood favorites! I love the eclectic options with spicy flavors! I also like their cocktails and beer choices! Today I had Sasquatch Coffee Lager and my go to dining option of a Molly Tamale. I enjoy the atmosphere and energy of this colorful restaurant.
A unique, eclectic restaurant serving worldly dishes. Do you like it spicy? So does Salvadors! We have been here a half dozen times and are always happy. With the selection of dishes and drinks, everyone should be able to find something. Service is friendly and typically quick. Today's visit was slow (minus 1 star), but the food and drinks were awesome. Will definitely be coming back again (for another Ball of Fire)!
