It was so much fun! We were greeted and told happy anniversary as soon as we arrived! Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The seafood chowder was amazing! Hope itâs not another 20 years till I come back!
Nice setting. Situated on the Columbia River. Indoor and outdoor seating was lovely plus there are two floors of seating! Ahmed was a terrific server! His recommendations were good and his service was spot on. The food was âyummy goodâ!! We had steelhead and it was perfectly moist. The dessert with the raspberry coulis was light and fluffy. It was an afternoon before a flight and made our day!! We recommend this place without hesitation. Will visit again when in town.
Had a wonderful lunch on the outside deck on the river. Service and food were excellent, as always. We always try to have lunch there when we are in Portland. Great place.
First time here. This is a old school establishment but in a good way. Food was delicious service was amazing and canât beat the view.

We went there for our anniversary dinner. The food was great as expected. We both had seafood chowder, grilled halibut and I had oysters for a starter. Additionally, we were very impressed with the server (Jafet). We had zero complaints. I usually donât include names in reviews but would like to recognize him. We would definitely go back there again!
Airport traffic noisier on top deck outside. Everything else about Salty's is tops
Seated outside with an excellent view. The only downside was the occasional pause in our conversation as we waited for planes taking off from PDX passing overhead. Service was prompt, attentive, with everything arriving as requested. The lemon blueberry French toast was perfectly delicious as was my wifeâs traditional eggs Benedict with home fries. Highly recommended.
Went for anniversary dinner. Nice view, waiter was terrific at the beginning. Started with oysters on the half shell - excellent. Chowder was decent. When our entrees came out was when it went downhill. Had obviously been sitting for awhile - food was barely warm. So disappointed. Dessert was on the house but it took at least a half hour as our waiter got hung up with a customer talking wine. No desire to go back.
Excellent food, excellent service. Weâll be back again soon.
