Great spot for drinks! Didn't order food, but plan to the next time. Atmosphere was laid back. Music was perfect for the environment. Service was great. Parking kind of sucked, but it was a Friday night so that was expected. All in all great spot if you like rum.

This place has character! Great for a first date or a hundred-and-first date. The staff is kind and helpful, the drinks are BOMB, and the ambiance can’t be beat. This is my go to for a fun Happy Hour. There are a couple bathrooms, both kept clean. I’ve never had a problem finding street parking within a block of the bar.

Excellent and inventive cocktails; delightfully pleasant staff. The salt roasted potatoes are excellent.

I only lasted four days on Hinge before I realized I'd rather be alone than end up with a guy who writes his own language based on Star Wars... so if you're looking for a bar with good looking single people, Rum Club is for you. It's also for you if you like to sit alone and read, or sip a cocktail after work with friends. So really, it's the perfect place for anyone. Dimly lit, with the air of romantic wantonness, I highly recommend stopping in - I promise they have more than just rum; a delicious variety of wine for example. But, if there was ever a place that I'd have a rum cocktail - it would be here.

This place is am amazing we were waited on be Brad and he was very helpful in making our first time at the Rum Club the best. The atmosphere was quaint awesome atmosphere. The food was amazing and the drinks , on point. Loved it and would come back.

Adorable stop with great cocktails. I enjoy a crafted Rum drink and that can be hard to find. I was particularly impressed by their food offerings - the noodles were fresh with crunchy veggies and a savory sauce. The empanadas with chicken were warm and crispy with a salty shredded chicken. Awesome stop for food and cocktails!

We were a party of 3 and tried to enjoy a bite and a drink on Saturday 4/16/2022 around 7pm. The guy working the door was a jarring experience. We were told they were full inside, and when we asked about how long it might be we were told "it could be 5 minutes it could be an hour, I don't know". It was cold and he offered a table outside. When we inquired how well the heater works he replied "it kind of works I guess". When we asked if we could sit outside and if something opens up inside could we switch, he replied "we don't move tickets or tables once seated".I was floored. So I asked again. You don't have any idea of an estimate? He followed up "like I said, could be 5 minutes, could be an hour. I'm not going to guess and lie to you. I don't know how many drinks people are going to have". We didn't want a lie, just a simple estimate. Which is about as common as asking for a glass of water. The resentment coming from him was palpable. As a life long service industry worker I know how hard the job is. But his behavior was unprofessional and uncalled for. And very unexpected considering the generally wonderful and friendly staff we're used to at Rum Club. We've had so many great evenings at Rum Club, and recommend it wholeheartedly to local friends and guests in town. Your empanadas and drinks are amazing. But this fella needs training, lots of training. It was more than a bad day.

Exotic, fun, goofy drinks (alongside some more serious run centric favorites) in an Intimate setting. The wait for a group of 2 on a Saturday night was short. The wait for 4 was 25 minutes.

Although this place isn't one of those that offers dumpling week, that was the reason why we were brought into this restaurant. Our server has been wonderful and took care of us well. As for the food, it was remarkable! We've had a few selections from their veggie dumplings which was terrific to their tofu and potatoes which were also delicious! Their house-blend hotsauce was also a hit too! This place is an absolute must-visit!

Best bar in Portland. If you like rum, this is the place to go. They can make tiki drinks and non rum cocktails and non alcoholic drinks too. Food is also worth checking out.
