I feel so fortunate to have this as my neighborhood coffee shop/roastery. It’s a beautiful, bright space filled with plants & the smell of fresh coffee and made to order sandwiches. I mostly come here to get my 1lb. bean jar refilled, but it’s also a great place to study, grab a gift, or enjoy a steaming cup of joy after a cool morning run.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The shop is super cute and Aesthetically pleasing! The coffee was out of this world. I got an oat milk latte with one pump of dark chocolate and it was not too sweet! So delicious definitely one of my favorite coffee shops I tried in Portland

My favorite coffee shop in pdx! The owners are local and super rad, staff is always friendly and seem like they really enjoy what they do. Coffee is delicious w/ several locally made ingredients. (The amber latte is my personal favorite?)They collaborate w/ local artists so there Are always fun little things to look at/purchase,and they have live music on the weekends! So many things to love!

I want to love it! Poor indoor air quality is the big downside for me. Details...Pros:–Friendly staff (sometimes so friendly that I feel bad for not being able to reciprocate the same level of chipperness in the morning!)–Cute space with a good vibe–Nice selection of food, drinks, and pastries–Open early and lateCons:–Pretty spendy–No prices listed on the main menu (although they recently added supplementary menus that do have prices, so that helps)–The biggest issue IMO: it's not properly ventilated for the kind of cooking they're doing. It always smells like burnt food/oil (not just coffee) in there, throughout the space, from the moment I walk in. This is unpleasant to the senses, is unhealthy to breathe (I'm especially concerned for the staff who are in it for hours), and sticks to my clothes and hair and makes them smell burnt until the next time I wash them, just like being around a campfire. It's really a bummer to have burnt smell in my hair for days from spending 10 minutes in a coffee shop. I haven't experienced this at other restaurants or coffee shops, just here. If they address this (however other restaurants/coffee shops already do), it would be 4 or 5 stars for me!

This is one of my favorite coffee places. Cool vibe, lots of seating, good coffee, food, and pastries. They have a variety of coffee options, really good breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. Their pastries are among some of the best in the Portland area. I love their almond croissants and cookies.

Conveniently located across from Brooklyn Park in Portland, is the best little coffee bean around! Stop and take a look drop in and have a delicious and tantalizing flavorful coffee sure to wake you up and warm your heart! Friendly and relaxing atmosphere, amazing selection of gifts sure to please any recipient! Just down the street from the Aladdin theater a great place to jump in and enjoy a hot cuppa Java before attending a show. You can’t go wrong with this friendly atmosphere. Warm your heart warm your soul and come check this out. I promise you will not be disappointed!

cute and quaint coffee shop perfect for studying! there’s lots of space to find seating and the wifi is great. i ordered an iced rose city latte with oat milk and it was really yummy! i also ordered the california sandwich on an everything bagel which was pretty good. definitely recommend :)

Went there on a whim this morning and am so glad I did! Christie was there to greet me (and mistake me for one of her co-workers!) and truly made me feel welcome! She recommended the matcha strawberry scone which was delicious and my latte was perfection. I also got a pound of beans to take home so I’m looking forward to trying those! Thanks Christie for curating a wonderful experience!

My biggest pet peeve are stores that don't have prices on anything. Just think if you went into Best Buy, REI or a grocery store and nothing had prices. Usually the main reason they don't is cause they don't want you to see how expensive everything is...so I don't think I'll ever come back here as I don't want to support a business that "scams" or "tricks" customers. Which is a shame cause the coffee is good and service is great. Oh and another thing I don't like is they don't take cash. WTH?!Update: Live music started while I was sitting there and it was amazing so I changed my 1 star review to 2 stars.

I had a very pleasant experience at this new venue, the music was absolutely first rate, Ben rice and friends are notoriously good. And the coffee was just as nice.
