The food was really good ? ???✅ I can't wait to come back and try the smothered French fries our friend ordered it was with sliced roast beef and gravy and so much other stuff it looked incredible ? ?❤️ We ordered the catfish and fries and tater tots perfect amount of spice and taste. Drinks were refreshing and our waitress was awesome ??? We ALL ? agreed there WILL be a return trip in the future
Relaxed vibe, pool table, local beer list.No crown royal, no Tito’s vodka.(But I hear you can order sushi from the place next door after 4pm, so that’s pretty cool)
First time coming here, and I will definitely be back. Friendly and attentive bartenders, and that is always a pleasant sight to see. I really enjoyed that they were playing an old school movie like the Fog, and that only increased my incentive to want to return. I felt welcomed, and I appreciate that very much.
A great bar where we got the gumbo, blackened catfish sliders, fried chicken sliders, and some tots. The gumbo and blackened catfish sliders were the best, plus the beer selection is fantastic. The kitchen is shared with the sushi restaurant next door, so one can order sushi from the bar side, and beer from the sushi side.
Superb!! The food is excellent. I had the Blackened Chicken Slider & a 1/2 order of Cajun Tots (their half-order is bigger than most regular orders elsewhere). Both super tasty. My Bro-In-Law & sister had the Shrimp & Andouille Jambalaya and Blackend Chicken Salad, respectively. I tried both and both had super flavor. Simply outstanding.Their tap list changes daily and their selection is excellent. Something for everybody's palate.HIGHLY recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a neighborhood tavern or pub with good food. I liked the beer selection (about 12 taps, I think). Everyone else seemed to be a local, but as an out-of-towner I felt welcome. The service was rapid and attentive, but I was never rushed. At a place like this, the food might only be so-so, but I took a risk on an oyster po'boy, and it was very good. The menu has a Louisiana slant, and everything on my plate was fresh and authentic. It seems Portlanders will put up with a lot--spasmodic traffic, hidden freeway entrances, and staggering fashion mistakes--but they won't put up with bad food. Everyone is competing to please your palate, and that's refreshing.
Best tater tots I’ve ever had. Been eating them since that dish was put in my face by the cafeteria in 1995 Wesley Chapel Elementary NC. Probably popped thousands in my day.Is it because we’re watching Titanic on the 110th anniversary of her sinking?MaybePerfect crust
Awesome place to meet friends for food or drinks. They have a very extensive food menu and a huge list of beers on tap. Outside seating and pool tables too
Nice place, horrid food. Three stars as a result. Bar is nice. Service is nice. Atmosphere is nice. Nice bar! Just don't eat here. Our table ordered the Caprese Mac and the Spicy Mac, but we got two orders of the worst mac and cheese we have ever had the displeasure of tasting. My companion and I hardly touched our food. It was AWFUL.The Caprese mac is stated as "pasta tossed in mozzarella and pesto cheese sauce. Topped with fried green tomatoes." What I got was overcooked pasta tossed in flavorless flour sauce with specks of green, and was topped with a 1/16" slice of fried ripe RED tomato. It was absolutely horrible, I'm guessing they don't actually use any degree of actual cheese, or roux was never salted as it was developed. I took the whole thing home to try and fix it, but I'm not sure it's worth saving.Meanwhile the Spicy Mac is listed as "Just like our regular Mac but with hot-pepper oil and jalapeños. This is SPICY!" I suppose that if eating Kraft Chipotle Mayo counts as spicy to you, you might feel like this mac has a kick. However, you are unlikely to feel like this mac has flavor, regardless of your scoville tolerance. Just as bland, with no sense of savory rich cheese, as the other one. Definitely not worth the money.Would come here for drinks, would never order food past fries again.
