Our experience here was amazing! Traveling through to the coast we were looking for a brunch outside the hustle of Portland.The service was on point and food was amazing!! Not overwhelming busy so fast and quick service. Bottomless mimosas let you choose different flavors for each glass.Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy!
Great brunch menu and friendly service at RCC, big sheltered patio, one of our favorite brunch go-to restaurants. My hubby had the smoked salmon hash (no potatoes, extra veg), extremely tasty. I had one biscuit and gravy with two eggs scrambled soft with cheese. Let me tell you this is the only restaurant where the chef understands scrambled soft… perfect! The biscuits are light and the gravy is awesome, best in town. Add bottomless mimosas to that and you have the perfect brunch experience! ??
Honestly this place has become one of my favorite places to go to eat here in (west) Portland. Some of our favorite meals over the last year were the squash risotto (last year late summer - seasonal), the steak frites, and the smoked pork sandwich. I recommend this place to practically everyone, highly recommend. I don't think we have had a dish we didn't like.(The photos probably date back to when we first started coming, approximately late summer 2021)
Unique tasting food. Burger with jalapeno, tomato,bacon jam was really good. But the prices were rather high. If you sit out on the patio during sunset it'll be right in your eyes. No awning or shade. Frankly, they have really good food but for the price and outdoor seating, it's not something I'd seek out again.
I’ve lived in Tanasbourne area for 15+ years and today was my first time visiting Rock Creek Corner. And I’m disappointment in myself for not coming here before and missing out on years of some of the BEST food and service I’ve ever had. Alyssa was AMAZING, her recommendation were nothing less of spectacular. I ate things I would have normally not ordered, and I’m beyond satisfied. This is my new favorite spot!!
Can’t believe I have never been here until recently. Breakfast is delicious, beautiful patio and outdoor seating, will come back for dinner!
We took a walk & decided to go to Rock Creek Corner. Haven't been there since the "pandemic" & all the covidiots took over the world. Walked in & the place was not busy yet there was a wait because they are still putting people 6ft apart which makes sense because "Covid" is gonna get ya? It's April 2nd 2022, we have yard time right now because Kate Brown decided to join the rest of the USA & release is to live semi normally. Well after waiting we decided to leave. The attitudes were crazy, one employee with moss green hair, one employee with bright pink & one employee with bluish/reddish spotted hair. That tells you pretty much all you need to know. BRING BACK THE OLD EMPLOYEES PLEASE!
Such a cute family owned restaurant. I would like to take a moment and pause on the food. THE FOOD! Reasonably priced, arrived HOT, and there was so much. I took half my plate home.Rock creek corner has some odd hours due to covid, completely understand. They have an amazing patio that looks magical for a warm summer night cider/beer with friends. This place has so much to offer this community, just needs some more love as we make our way out of the pandemic.
The food was good and we didn't have a long wait. My order included an arugula salad and the dressing was delicious. They seemed a little under-staffed during brunch but the service was still friendly and pretty prompt.
My dad and I have been here multiple times but hadn’t been there since mid 2021. Obviously new rules are in place and that’s FINE but what’s not fine is up coming into the bar and the hostess immediately greeting us with hostility. The place wasn’t even that busy and I understand stress happens but when we arrived a lady with dark red hair glanced our way and proceeded to ignore us. So assuming we can seat ourselves in the bar we head that way, when she stopped us with so much sass and attitude saying wait to be seated. So my dad casually said oh we just want to go to the bar to which she replied doesn’t matter I have to seat you so wait right there. Being already unsettled and uncomfortable by the interaction I approached her and asked if it was okay to use the bathroom before being seated, she glared at me and said yeah go… as if I’m dumb for asking? I then had to ask where it was since she didn’t even go the extra effort of telling me that much. I’ve never used their bathroom and she scoffed and lazily pointed down the hall?? And then when I finally returned half as much attitude as she gave me, and walked off towards the bathroom she started saying stuff under her breath to which my dad had to interfere and tell her that she was in the wrong. After going to the bathroom we decided they didn’t deserve our service and to just leave. Ruined our experience before it even really started. Do better.
