Found this place waiting for our red eye flight home. Great find, great value, great food. Odd little place bout highly recommend.
Had breakfast at the radio room on their outdoor upstairs patio and it was lovely. Funky paint and lots of shade for this burner of a day. A smattering of people and attentive staff rounded out the choice meal. Breakfast tacos, biscuits and gravy with eggs and a beautiful French toast with just the right amount of crunch. The Raspberry Lemonade was a refreshing summer libation to round out the day! We will be back.
Both my wife and I ordered the vegetable hash. What we got was a plate of burnt potatoes that seemed like they were soaked in oil. There were a few threads of greens that represented the "vegetable" part of this dish. Wow, were we disappointed. This the the first and last visit for us.
Very cool! Lots of comfy seating (both inside and out), yummy food and beverage, good happy hour specials. The service was excellent. Prices were a bit high, but everything is these days. This place would be equally great for a large group or an intimate tete-a-tete. I was sorry that the upstairs patio wasn't open when I visited, but that was the only minor disappointment. Otherwise, top notch!
I never pay for delivery and I would Postmates the Mac and Cheese across the border.Thank you for the "Masks Optional!" sign, I hate having to guess at policies.Also, the Rosebird cocktail is fantastic.My only negative is that the Mac and Cheese was so hot my fiance was able to finish her food before I could take a bite without burning myself. The bowl it comes in keeps the heat at dangerous levels for far too long. It was delicious though.
The ambiance is classic and we were very warm during next to the beautiful fieplace. I had a rose drink which was delicious. I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy. It was delicious and filling, definitely could have been shared. My niece had the grilled cheese and thought it was one of the best she's ever had. My daughter ordered the cuban sandwich. She didn't think it was that great, but I ate the other half later, cold, and I thought it was still a good attempt. We all agreed the fries were perfectly done. The restrooms were also nice and clean. If your looking for a safe and teen friendly spot to eat, this is a good place. They made a mocktail drink for my daughter too!
Amazing food and wonderful staff. I ordered the Mac and cheese and it was so good I forgot to take a picture of it for this review! The staff members were kind and attentive. The outdoor seating is very nice and well heated too with a good sized fire pit in the middle and heaters at each table. A very wonderful place to eat and I'm thoroughly looking forward to my next visit.
Do yourself a favor, take your date here. This place is magical and the music had us vibing as well. We sat on the top floor and enjoued happy hour (3 to 6) cocktails and the biggest and best chicken sandwiches we've ever had. I'm pretty sure that was a while chicken in that sandwich. A little secret? Ask them to add their spicy honey sauce to the chicken sandwich and let the magic happen. Great service even though this place is packed, outdoor seating are HEATED and that's what I Google searched to help me find this place. Highly recommend it and it's entire atmosphere and community is so welcoming, and the music... Radio room hands down has the best music I've ever heard in a sit down place... Some Cuban music too which had us jammin! Their salad was soooo good my date bought two. I can't emphasize enough how amazing this place is and we will definitely be visiting again!
It doesn’t seem like this is a place to seek out for the food menu. (I will leave a photo of the deviled eggs with green sauce just for illustration.) But we ordered two specialty cocktails last night, and after some debate, chose one to send back. (It would have been embarrassing to send both.)
I’ve loved Radio Room for almost a decade now. Their rotating menu is robust but small enough to keep each item fresh and delicious. Staff are great, the service is phenomenal, and the drinks are strong.It’s like a dive bar that grew up to wear a pretty black dress and heels and only eats organic.
