Inventive cocktails were excellent. The scallop and prawns were outstanding. Our waiter was everything a waiter should be: professional, knowledgeable and fun! The patio is perfect amid a small bamboo forest. We loved every minute of our experience at Quaintrelle.
We were underwhelmed with the food and value. The Aperols were tasty.
Amazing. Definitely a special occasion kind of place, but remarkably friendly.
Excellent food and a wonderful server.
Where to begin? We found this spot looking for ‘most romantic restaurants in Portland’ - and it delivered. Located in a peaceful, quiet area, the ambiance of the outdoor seating set a welcoming tone. The staff were so warm and personable, expert guides to navigate the fabulously diverse menu. We ordered 4 a la carte options + dessert, which was a perfect amount for two people. This is an excellent date night / anniversary spot - the presentation of each dish is so colorful and creative. My only feedback of something to change would be that the music selection - a trance-y, loud mish-mash that felt out of step with the rest of the vibe - could be improved in the future.Otherwise, already plotting our next visit!
The 7-course tasting menu wasn't good value for the money for two people, compared to what we could have gotten by ordering a la carte and sharing. The portions were small and the price was high; I left feeling like I spent way too much money for the food we received. I love tasting menus and have eaten in all kinds of good restaurants around the world, so this isn't a comment on tasting portions in general; it's just that $145 pp for the amount of food we got seemed really disproportionate considering a la carte prices for full portions. I left very disappointed. I was also really hoping that the uni would be part of the tasting menu, as previous Google reviews indicated it would, so I was disappointed there as well -- would rather have just chosen the dishes that looked the best to me and spent less money.
Such an exquisite dining experience! The ambience is so beautiful, the food is incredible, the staff is so kind and knowledgeable. We felt so taken care of, down to every last detail. Can't recommend it enough!
We did the 12-course tasting menu for my partner's birthday. It was EPIC. Truly remarkable, creative, seasonal food. Warm, enthusiastic, attentive service. Their outdoor seating area is lovely, and the fun, unfussy vibe is super welcoming. Quaintrelle is easily our favorite fine dining place in Portland.

Unfortunately underwhelming but definitely a few solid dishes and drinks
