Arrived 7:45 am empty parking lot, ordered three bagels. Several people can and picked up online orders, which I can understand them being in and out. What I can get over is the two people that ordered there and got their food very quickly. 8:32 am is when I finally got my order and his excuse was sorry I lost you ticket. The bagels were awesome, don’t get me wrong, but my rating is based on the service. I just wish I didn’t tip three dollars first.
My first time here, I ordered at the window. The clerk was very nice and the egg and cheese bagel was very good. My only complaint, and it seems like it's common, is I wish I would have been told it would be a 25 minute wait. I was on my way to an event and hadn't budgeted that amount of time to grab such a small order.
My husband and I have given this place so many chances as we love their bagels and we carpool soIt’s nice to get breakfast together. We have been kind and patient but we won’t be back. Out of 8 tries, they have been correct twice. We really tried but no more.
Have picked up from this location and saw they had a half dozen day old bagels for $4. For hand rolled and boiled East Coast style bagels? You bet I got a bag!My family and I scarfed these down: they were so good. If the day old bagels are that delicious, they must taste amazing the day they are baked!Appreciate this bagel cart and the people who work in it: great job! ??
I'm so sad I just discovered this place!! It's so good. I've been in Portland for years but am moving back east tomorrow. I ordered in doordash this morning, since everything is packed and ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich, a mocha, and a cookie. I love a good bagel sandwich and this one delivered. You could tell that who ever made it, made it with love. A lot of places in Portland do not use enough cream cheese. They used the perfect amount! I'm so happy this was my last Portland breakfast though. I always prefer to go out on a high note. Thank you for the delicious food and mocha! When I'm back to visit Portland, I'll be ordering again. :)
Can’t handle large orders and customer service is not priority. I placed a large order ($112 after delivery and tip). Our office was celebrating a couple of us passing an exam. Most of the sandwich orders were incorrect, one was missing altogether, and my large scallion cream cheese that I paid for was also missing. I understand things happen so I called. I was told there was nothing they could do in the shop, but a manager or owner would contact me. I left my info and no email. I called the next day and a guy answered the phone. I explained what happened and that I was waiting for an email from the manager or owner. He said he could send a text message and then completely ignored me and helped someone at the window. He came back on and said “I have someone at my window, can I let you go?!” Still no word for anyone two days later. Probably won’t be back. Too bad because they have great bagels.
My 3rd time here was very pleased my first 2 visits but I will never be back. There are many places to get bagels from and this place isn’t special enough to deal with the rude blonde lady with the red lipstick at 11am. Lady don’t give me an attitude because YOU don’t know the menu. Also yea you did forget the cheese I asked for 3 times that COMES on the sandwich.
Really good bagles, Lbtg friendly. Second chance and disability friendly implorer. A lot like Dave's used to be before they sold out. Also a good meal for a chilly Portland morning.
Decent prices, quick service. I got the grilled cheese bagel and it was super good! Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Portland!
I have ordered from here a few times. Today was through Uber eats in the early morning. The bagel was just fine. It tasted good. The bagel dog tasted good but parts of it were rock hard. I don't know if it was heated up badly or it was stale but I couldn't compress some parts of the bread even with all my finger grip.I would get the bagel again, but maybe not the bagel dog
