Ran over to Popeyes Chicken on McLaughlin Blvd. in Oak Grove south of Portland to pick up dinner for my wife and myself. I wanted a two piece and a three piece, one with Cole slaw and one with mashed potatoes with the mild recipe and dark meat. First of all the person on the loudspeaker kept peppering me with questions like a drill sergeant. I finally had to yell and, unfortunately swear to get her to stop. Finally I learned they were out of mild chicken and I would have a short wait. Finally I received a totally screwed up order; two two piece orders instead of a two piece and a three piece. During our exchange, she thought I wanted beans and rice so she threw that in with it all. She never offered a receipt nor gave me one. The bill seemed high but I was so flustered that I just left when when the food was handed to me. Is there anyone in charge at this place?
Terrible customer service from the lady with the long pony tail at the drive thru. The employee was rude before she had any reason to be. She was loud, dismissive, inattentive, and I had to ask three times (she ignored me twice) if she wanted me to pay or not because she never asked for payment even after handing me my order. Ordering was confusing because she didn't follow any type of normal protocol for taking a customers order. I was never given a receipt and she closed the window on me before I could ask for straws. I had to park and go in to get straws. Once inside, not a single employee even turned around to see me standing there. I ended up taking straws from a tray in the corner of the counter without so much as a hello.They also just dumped fries into our bag; only a few of the fries were actually in their little paper pouch. It was a weird and unsettling experience and we won't be back to that location again.
We were hungry for Popeye's and this is the closest one to us. We were not disappointed :) Except they don't have the green beans anymore... But other than that the service was quick and friendly. The three of us got the 8 piece family meal (half spicy half regular) with a side of mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy while my son also got a spicy chicken sandwich. The flavors were just right, and I love their slightly spicy gravy. We were all satisfied with our crunchy chicken cravings, though I do wish they'd bring back their green beans...
Went there for the first time a few nights ago on my way to work (I work graveyard). Was glad to see a Popeyes that was open - I'd been craving chicken. Customer service was awesome!!! The cashier even gave my dog a couple of French fries. And that's where the good words end.Wrong side (asked for Mac and cheese, got mashed potatoes). Nuggets were cold. And on top of all that, no straw and no utensils.
I just want to let the owner know that Skylar was awesome today. I came in and she took my order and then proceeded to keep a good pace and move everyone through the line quickly and professionally. I am making note of this because I frequent other Popeye's and they just don't care if you wait or not. You have a great employee and I would recommend she get a raise for sure... Hang on to this one.
I couldn’t make up my mind of what I wanted meanwhile my baby was in the back seat screaming. Finally cancelled my order, and decided I wasn’t going to eat. Got to the window for my brother to pay for his. and the kind generous team had packed the dinner I wanted and gave it to me on the house- drink and all! When we got home, we realized my bro was missing his apple pie, but they were so kind they deserved 5 stars anyway lol We ate ALL of it!
A few months ago this place was on top of things and i loved going here! Orders were accurate, waited the amount of time it takes to cook things, never had any problems! But recently theyve been pre preparing meals and sides are cold and stale, theyve forgotten items from the order just to rush the order out multiple times, and have just forgotten to fully check our orders before sending them out. Unfortunately, future visits to this exact establishment will be few and far between, as well as checking our order freshness while in line more thoroughly than the employees have been. The effort to drive back to the store for the entire order of chicken missing is not worth it, as the employees would rush out old pre prepared chicken.
Waited for 25 minutes to place my order. Not even acknowledged during this whole time. Finally get acknowledged and ask who I'm picking up for. I say I want to order and they ask me what I would like. As soon as I start placing my order I was cut off and told to wait a little bit. I waited for another 10 minutes and left. Very disappointed in a store that I frequent often. But it has been going in this direction for a whole now. I'm a little sad that I have to fine a new location.
I have given this store a chance to prove themselves. More than 6 times. I have ordered a meal with a drink, and an additional 3 of those. Which would equal 4 total. I don’t understand why I am always shorted at least one drink. One day I ordered 4 and one with a meal, and only received 4.I would like this to be fixed since it has happened at the drive thru (everyone there at this location was very rude and angry towards me) and every time I order online.Thanks.
This is the slowest fast food store I have ever been to in my entire life. I get that they are understaffed (everyone is right now) but waiting almost an hour for a small order is crazy. They seem to mess up every order and it’s not just me saying this, I have friends who have experienced this too, there’s also this certain woman who works there that makes me feel stupid for taking a second to decide what i want and read the menu, very short with me, speaks as if she needs me to hurry up and tell her what I want as soon as I pull up. to sum it up I say choose any other Popeyes to go to. This ones canceled.
