Love love love! Their gelato in straight forward and delicious. No artificial ingredients added. You can tell by the color and flavors that it’s going to be good. This gelato is rich, so try a small or medium before you go big. It’s worth a trip to the east side if you aren’t already over there.
First of all, it’s gelato, so you know you’re going to have a good time. But you’re going to have an *especially* good time at Pinole Gelato. There is an excellent selection of flavors, and they’re all rich and flavorful. The hazelnut, pistachio, strawberry, and nectarine were all absolutely phenomenal.
Filling but not heavy or too sweet, doesn't even leave you dehydrated, flavors are balanced and authentic. Dear gawd it was worth every penny! The ladies who helped me were wonderful, so ready to go back
I'm not a gelato person. I've had shoddy gelato in the Midwest and (weirdly) wasn't a fan when I tried it in Rome. But this? This was excellent. When I go back I'll be having the amaretto please and thank you. This is a small, which comes with two flavors. I got the sweet lil Fior di Latte and the hazelnut.

So good! My favorite gelato in Portland. Lots of flavors, and they're generous about samples. The quality is excellent, and I always want some when I come to Portland. Everyone who works here is very friendly.
I've been coming here since it opened in 2015 and met the owner in its opening weeks. Pinolo serves authentic gelato made by an Italian who imported the machines from Italy. So much better than the Salt and Straw down the street and much shorter lines. You are doing yourself a disservice if you haven't been here yet.
Love the gelato here! I'm pretty picky, but I'm always happy with what I get and they're never too sweet. The flavors are always rotating with fruits that are in season. I also really like that the size options let you choose multiple flavors
I have spent a fortune at this place and their gelato is worth every penny. Amazing dairy and non-dairy options that change with the seasons. Drool...
