I wanted to order cakes for my best friend in Oregon and was having issues with arranging delivery! I am in Canada, and don't know the area that well, but Marilyn helped walk me through types of cakes and best ways to go about delivery. She definitely didn't need to message me back that day, but was very thorough and sweet! I will always be ordering random surprise cakes through this bakery ❤️
Their specialty cake was absolutely fantastic. Very high quality and I felt I got what I paid for as this cake was expensive. But I bought it for my husband, and he loved it. In addition, the ordering was easy, and the people were wonderful.
This bakery is amazing! The Vegan German Chocolate cupcakes were so delicious! I needed cupcakes right away and Marilyn said no problem we got you covered! Picked them up 30 minutes later.. super friendly staff and cute shop! Definitely recommend this bakery and will be coming back soon..
Piece of cake sorted a surprise delivery for me. It was efficient and hassle free, even though I am based in the UK so we organised it all over email. The recipient was delighted with the cake!
Most expensive cake I've ever purchases for a birthday and last one too. Lol 125 for a little 12 slice cake and charged me another $5 to put Happy Birthday on it because spending 125.00 isn't enough.
During a recent visit with my family, 2 employees in the bakery were engaged in an expletive-filled shouting match just a few feet away from us. The poor 3rd employee who was helping us looked mortified and tried to get them to stop. One of the employees even yelled, "F**k you. I'm the one that makes (owner) the money." I emailed the owner and waited 48 hours, expecting them to be fully invested in understanding what went down, but have heard no response, so apparently that was the person who makes them their money. Really sad, because my mom loved the df/gf dessert. The regular cupcake was fine, but definitely not something that would entice me to support this business again.
the clerk helping us was only on her third day. She was marvelous in helping us find gf and df treats. Her coworkers were awful. They had a yelling match replete with obscenities and ignored her requests to behave and stop. It was obvious they were not the owner from what they were yelling. horribly embarrassing for the young clerk. if not for her we would have walked out.
We LOVE this bakery and have been going to it for years. Specifically, we love the vegan and soy free options...RICE MILK FROSTING!? It's SOO good, and not too sweet at all!! Seriously, we've bought a cake for every birthday, holiday, baby shower, and more. You won't regret going and if you have dietary restrictions..this is YOUR PLACE!
I went to this bakery for my wedding cake, and IT WAS RAVED ABOUT BY EVERYONE! Marilyn is the best, and we worked together to make the cake perfect. It's the best cake I've ever had and I will be a customer for life!
Got a Black Forest birthday cake for a friend and it was utterly delicious. Top notch quality. They're pricey, but you 100% get what you pay for here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a go-to place for your most special cakes!
